Joints and Marrow – Soul and Spirit
Hebrews 4:12
LITV For the word of God is living, and powerfully working, and sharper than every two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of both soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge of the thoughts and intentions of the heart;
In biology a joint is called an articulation. It is where bones come together to form a body. In speech a functional articulation refers to a properly spoken word. Sounds are assembled to form a word, which is used as a vehicle to carry meaning to our ears. The Greek word translated “joint” or “articulation” is only used once in the Bible. It is from the Greek word ἁρμός | harmos | har-mos’ . The Greek word for chariot is closely related: ἅρμα | harma | har’-mah. A chariot is made of properly joined parts used to contain and carry people from place to place.
The “soul” and “spirit” are depicted as the “joints” and “marrow” in a body. A soul harmonizes the body with articulations so it’s parts can work together and move in agreement. Some families actually hang their rules of engagement on an inside wall of their house. It is their family covenant they agree to work together by. What joins the individual parts of the church body is our common agreement in the new soul; as expressed through the Bible, the church body (past and present), and the Holy Spirit. Jesus masterfully articulated the human soul in an old covenant Jewish body of humanity. When our new covenant joints are groaning and we don’t exactly know what to say or ask for, the Holy Spirit He sent becomes the intercessor for our ineffable sighs.
Romans 8:26
CLV 26 Now, similarly, the spirit also is aiding our infirmity, for what we should be praying for, to accord with what must be, we are not aware, but the spirit itself is pleading for us with inarticulate groanings.”
Yeshua took on the human soul in order to master all creations with His living humanity. As a merciful yet true mediator between God and man, Yeshua joins the Spirit of God with His spirit in a man to form working articulations in the revitalized body. The Holy Spirit assembles and unites the new covenant body in the spirit of Christ by the Holy Spirit He sent as the new breath. The living soul of the new body is Yeshua’s spiritual image of Yahweh, perfectly articulated in the flesh body of Yeshua and now united in the spirit realm.
He gave His spiritual life to the mortal bodies. Eschatos Adam was put to death and then raised a life-giving spirit in a new covenant. The soulish Adam (natural or soilish) was raised spiritual (alive to the heavenly or spiritual realm). The Holy Spirit conceived a body for the Son who came out of heaven to take Adam’s place in God’s creation. He became a living soul in the land and laid down that soul only to take it up again as the firstborn in the new covenant, to become a life giving spirit.
Marrow is your essence – the core of your spine – the nucleus of your being. The Greek word translated “marrrow” is also used only once in the Bible and is analogous with your “spirit”. Without it there would be no vitality to animate or sustain your flesh body. It’s where your blood is made. Your physical body is the vehicle that contains your ‘human’ (or humanized) spirit and allows coordinated movement from place to place within your natural earthy realm.
The Holy Spirit makes it’s home in the church body. The new creation soul and spirit are inseparable. It was the old creation soul (Adam) that no longer had a place as the master of humanity and needed to be separated from the body of God’s people. The Holy Spirit of Yahweh enables the new covenant soul to master your not-so-human spirit. The spirit of a man is not operationally humanized until it learns to walk in the Spirit of Yahweh. Yeshua set us free from the old human soul that did not make us heaven worthy. His Spirit is already Holy. He became the mediator of humanity by becoming human and then taking Adam’s place in the death.
After being born from above, we are in a Spirit to spirit relationship with the Father, mediated through the humanity of the True firstborn Son. We are in the new covenant. Yeshua was the only begotten by the Holy Spirit in the old covenant. The first human in the first creation was not a conceived by the Holy Spirit son. The first human son of God was a created by proxy son. The Holy Spirit conception took the face to face creation of humanity to the full representation of the Father in the old covenant.
Adam was to beget people into his godlike formation. Yeshua was the only begotten by God into that old flesh mode of the human image. In the old covenant He was called thee eschatos Adam, not the firstborn Adam. Yeshua was not the firstborn human until He was in His new covenant creation.
Everyone is still begotten by parents before being born again by the Holy Spirit into the new covenant formation. It’s not called begetting because it is not in the flesh. It’s a better creation because it is not the typical adamic breath in through the nose. It is a spiritual inception of the image of God, but it doesn’t produce a flesh body. It gives new life to your already existing body.
The Law was spiritual, but only Yeshua could form the full image of Yahweh in His body of flesh under Law. He was begotten by The Father in the flesh body of Mary in the tribe of Judah.
Romans 8:9
ECB 9 And you are not in flesh, but in Spirit whenever the Spirit of Elohim dwell in you. And if one has not the Spirit of Messiah, he is none of his.
JMNT 9 Yet you folks are not constantly existing within the midst of flesh (or: you are not in union with nor centered on [the alienated human condition, or Torah-keeping with flesh sacrifices]), but rather within spirit, in union with Breath-effect…
He exhaled the last breath of His old covenant soul so He could be resurrected and transfer His resurrected humanity to His people in His new creation, where the Holy Spirit (image-bearing-indwelling) became a family inheritance from the firstborn.
John 20:22 (post-resurrection)
LITV 22 And saying this, He breathed on them and said to them, Receive the Holy Spirit.
CLV 22 And saying this, He exhales and is saying to them, “Get holy spirit!”
Luke 23:46 LITV And crying with a loud voice, Jesus said, Father, “into Your hands I commit My spirit.” And saying this, He breathed out the spirit. (exhales, expires) Psa. 31:5
In Luke 23:46, the second word translated “spirit” is “expires”. He breathed out his last old covenant nose breath while taking on humanity’s curse. He laid down His O.C. soul to take it up again into an elevated and everlasting humanity. His spirit didn’t die. His O.C. soul did. He left His O.C. realm of life. He will never live in the O.C. domain of humans again. The O.C. principality of humanity was fully destroyed in 70 AD. But Jesus’ human soul wasn’t corrupted or left in the place of the dead souls. S.O.S.
Mark 15:37 KJV And Jesus cried with a loud voice and gave up the ghost (last breath).
In Mark 15:37, again the word “ghost” is “expires” or “breathed His last” The word “ghost” or “spirit” is a forced translation here too.
Romans 8:16 LITV 16 The Spirit Himself witnesses with our spirit that we are children of God.
Every living soul in Genesis chapter one is defined by it’s niche. Each living soul has a habitat and a type of body that inhabits and moves within that realm. Those realms incorporate the living spirits within their domain of shared boundaries. The freedom of movement and the limits on movement continuously define the living souls within that corporate creation. But even fish share the air with firstborn humanity.
In Romans 8:16, only new covenant humans have the Holy spirit.

Genesis 1:20-28
CLV 20 And saying is the Elohim, “Roam shall the water with the roaming, living soul, and the flyer shall fly over the earth on the face of the atmosphere of the heavens.” And coming is it to be so. 21 And creating is the Elohim great monsters and every living moving soul, with which the water roams, for their from-kind, and every winged flyer for its from-kind. And seeing is the Elohim that it is good. 22 And blessing them is the Elohim, saying, “Be fruitful and increase and fill the water of the seas. And the flyer is to be increasing in the earth. 23And coming is it to be evening and coming to be morning, the fifth day.
24 And saying is the Elohim, “Bring forth shall the earth the living soul for its from-kind, beast and moving animal and land life for its from-kind. “And coming is it to be so. 25 And making is the Elohim, the land life for its from-kind, and the beast for its from-kind, and every moving animal of the ground for its from-kind. And seeing is the Elohim that it is good.
26 And saying is the Elohim, “Make will We humanity in Our image, and according to Our likeness, and sway shall they over the fish of the sea, and over the flyer of the heavens, and over the beast, and over all land life, and over every moving animal moving on the land. 27 And creating is the Elohim humanity in His image. In the image of the Elohim He creates it. Male and female He creates them. 28 And blessing them is the Elohim. And saying to them is the Elohim, “Be fruitful and increase and fill the earth, and subdue it. And sway over the fish of the sea, and over the flyer of the heavens, and over the beast, and over all the earth, and over all life moving on the land.
Genesis 2:7 – Adam was not a begotten son. He was a created son.
CLV 7 And forming is Yahweh Elohim the human of soil from the ground, and He is blowing into his nostrils the breath of the living, and becoming is the human a living soul.
An individual soul is shaped by many influences within the corporate body. Each family of living souls is delineated by natural and spoken privileges and restrictions. Each living soul is defined by the behavior of the family they are born into. They were distinct creations from the beginning.
Only humans would enter into their assigned realm and then actually walk with and hear formative words from Yahweh Himself. Only in the second account of creation, which is in reverse order, was a wife especially formed from the human soul himself. It was the fully formed human in thee eschaton Adam who went into a deep sleep on the cross, because He could not find a suitable bride in the old covenant flesh mode. The law-man released the bride from Adam’s side so she could be free to marry the spiritual human in the second covenant creation. She was reformed (born again into a spiritual body) by the Holy Spirit ‘breath-effect’ Yeshua sent from heaven. This marriage would be everlasting and bear much fruit.
Though Adam was the firstborn son of God in the old covenant, he is never called a begotten son of God. Yeshua is the only begotten Son of God. God’s Holy Spirit conceived His human body in the womb of Mary in the old covenant. In that covenant, He is called eschatos (fulfilment) Adam. He was not the firstborn human in the old covenant. He came to finalize the old covenant and start a better one. As an only begotten Son, Yeshua could not find a suitable soul mate. We assume the animals mated as they wanted, with each other, but humans (sons of Yahweh) entered into a Covenanted Creation with a suitable soul mate; Ber.it – Bara. A marriage is a new covenant.
In the garden, Adam walked with God, being informed by His words. At Sinai, Yahweh’s words began to form a nation, then His people walked, surrounded by His protective presence, to the promised land. Only humans could knowingly disobey Yahweh and break from the safety of their covenant creation. Both Adam and the nation fell by disbelieving the words of Yahweh.

Humanity was made for the most tame, pleasant and protected realm on land; the garden. If you drop me off in the air above my land, I’m likely to get injured or die from the fall. Unless I take some human formation with me, like a parachute or a hang glider. Only humanity was assigned to tame or rule over all creation. Drop me off in the middle of the ocean and I will die trying to swim back to my domain. But I can take a boat and a GFI to master that realm and most likely return to the protection of my home in one piece.
Yeshua always existed, but He came down from heaven to grow up in a human body, within the limitations of His God given flesh mode. Yeshua’s human soul went to Hades after He died, because He willingly took on the old covenant realm of death, which was waiting outside the assigned realm of Adam. Adam’s living soul was to rule over all creation, but he too had assigned human bounds to work within. He knowingly crossed the boundary of his living soul and he died there. He was not deceived. He was not to be the master of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and he knew it. It was easily accessible yet dangerously beyond his human limitation. Didn’t he believe God’s word that he would die that day? Adam knew better. Adam notwithstanding wasn’t even deceived by himself. He overstepped in spite of the well known results? He died in that day middle of the garden.
Yeshua entered the land and was knowingly contained by the old covenant human arrangement as revealed by the law of the land. He was neither deceived like Eve nor rebellious like Adam. The knowledge of good and evil, as spelled out by Yahweh on Mount Sinai, was fully kept by thee eschatos Adam. Original Adam only knew one law of the land and he broke it. In God’s good time He came down from heaven to unveil His full knowledge of good and evil in His Son. Humanity was no longer as a child. The once forbidden knowledge of good and evil was now required in order to grow up and keep on living with Yahweh in His land. Now a multitude of laws resulted in death when broken.
Moses was given hundreds of laws to keep his people living and thriving in the land. Jesus’ physical bones grew through the umbilical cord nourishment of His mother and His doctrinal bones grew through the culture of His land. Jesus became part of the flesh body of humanity. That culture’s conceptualization originated from the Word of God given at Sinai. The knowledge of good and evil even under all good laws was still fateful, but Yeshua was unique among the humans in the land, because of His Holy Spirit inception. His spiritual entrance into the realm of humanity was as the only begotten Son. His spiritual conception insured that He would not leave his assigned domain like everyone else did.
Even some angels crossed the boundaries of their own assigned habitation. Angels fathered/begot sons in the flesh mode and that rebellion resulted in a new realm of death for the irredeemable spirits – Tartarus. Second death was temporarily on hold. Even the bodiless demons in their discorporate realm of existence had knowledge of that. Like their parents (fallen angels and daughters of Eve), demons most desired to live in the bodies of God’s people, but in a pinch even pigs might be better than nothing. The pigs did not choose to live with the demons’ habitation. The pigs broke the law of breathing on land. They chose to die rather than be married to the demons in the land of Israel. Even the unclean animals knew better. Pigs were created to be tamed by humanity not anti-humanity. They said no to the lowest and most unholy form of creation in the land.
God did not take on a human body to Father a son like fallen angels (also called sons of God) did. It was a spiritual conception. God gave His Son Yeshua His human assignment. It included Adam’s realm of spiritual death, even though Jesus didn’t fail to contain His spirit within the realm of the land. He came from the realm of heaven as a true Son, so He never broke into or out of God’s human creation. His authority to rule the human domain wasn’t taken away due to disobedience. He even ruled over the realm of their death, because it was part of His divine assignment to lay down His old covenant soul and go there.
Jude 1:6, KJV: “And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.”
When other old covenant humans left their flesh body they naturally went to the Hades and did not return to the land of the living, because they were ruled by their spiritual death. But their soul, that had developed under the restraints of their earthly existence, however imperfectly, now contained that fallen human creation, in the realm of the dead ones. Part of the definition of the human soul was death for disobedience. Hades was a gracious delay to the destruction event, because everyone went outside the assigned human realm of life. Only Yeshua rightly contained His spirit within old covenant humanity. He didn’t naturally go to Hades. He in fact mastered His God given flesh nature to get there. He sweat drops of blood through His human body in order to rule His spirit within that body. His spirit wanted a living way out.
Human body life is covenant life. The instatement into that realm of eternal existence today is by being born from above by the Holy Spirit of Yahweh, into the new covenant body of humanity. The mother of our new spiritual body is the church. Our non-spirit-realm body is born-again into an un-fallen and incorruptible body. People join the church body as spiritual babies in the never-to-die family of Christ. He obediently died on and mastered the tree of death that Adam fell on. He entered the realm of the dead ones and ruled there too.
The eschaton Adam died and came back to the living realm to humanly rule over all His creation. He will never die again. The newly defined realm formed a new living human soul. The firstborn soul of the new covenant human family has no spiritual death or spiritual death threat. In the new creation, Yeshua redefined the realm of humanity to include heaven and exclude Hades. Humanity now rules all creation. Hades does not rule humanity. There isn’t even a symbolic sea because that represented a division between Yahweh’s nation and all the other nations.
John 10:15-17
CLV 15 according as the Father knows Me, and I know the Father. And My soul am I laying down for the sake of the sheep.” 16 And other sheep have I which are not of this fold. Those also I must be leading, and they will be hearing My voice, and there will be one flock, one Shepherd.” 17 Therefore the Father is loving Me, seeing that I am laying down My soul that I may be getting it again.”
Leviticus 17:10-16 (Only Yeshua had a nose-breathed-soul in His blood that was not depraved. Nobody else who grew up in the typical old covenant air earned a Holy Spirit to human spirit relationship. So definitely do not the eat the nose-breathing-souls of old covenant sacrificial animals. But do eat the flesh and blood of the nose-breathing Lamb of God.)
CLV 10 As for any man from the house of Israel and from the sojourners sojourning in your midst who should eat any blood, I will set My face against the soul eating blood, and I will cut him off from among his people, 11 for the soul of the flesh, it is in the blood, and I Myself have assigned it to you to make a propitiatory shelter over your souls on the altar; for the blood, in the soul it makes a propitiatory shelter. 12 Therefore I say to the sons of Israel: No soul at all of you shall eat blood; nor shall the sojourner sojourning in your midst eat blood. 13 Any man from the sons of Israel and from the sojourners sojourning in your midst who hunt a game animal or a flyer which may be eaten will pour out its blood and cover it with soil, 14 for the soul of all flesh is its blood; as its soul is it. So I said to the sons of Israel: The blood of any flesh you shall not eat, for the soul of all flesh, it is its blood. Everyone eating it shall be cut off. 15 Any soul who eats a carcass or an animal torn to pieces, whether a native or a sojourner, will rinse his garments and bathe in water and be unclean until the evening; then he will be clean. 16 Yet if he should not rinse his garments and not bathe his flesh then he will bear his depravity.
YLT Leviticus 17:11-12 (This translator claims to be consistent or concordant but he goes askew here to save his personal definition of “soul”. He translates the same Hebrew word for soul three different ways: life, soul and person. It’s even the Greek word for soul in the Septuagint translation of Leviticus 17:11-12.)
YLT 11 for the life [soul] of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you on the altar, to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood which maketh atonement for the soul. 12 `Therefore I have said to the sons of Israel, No person [soul] among you doth eat blood, and the sojourner who is sojourning in your midst doth not eat blood;
John 6:53-57 (Yeshua used the word for life here because He was the only person whose soul had spirit to Spirit life in His flesh and blood body.)
ECB 53 So Yah Shua says to them, Amen! Amen! I word to you, Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of humanity, and drink his blood, you have no life in you. 54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life; and I raise him at the final day. 55 For my flesh is truly food, and my blood is truly drink. 56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me; and I in him. 57 Exactly as the living Father apostolized me – and I live through the Father; thus whoever eats me, even he lives through me.
Acts 11(In the first century, the old covenant Jews had a synagogue in every city. They pre-humanized or pre-evangelized the nations who were also going to receive life by the Holy Spirit. They were shaping the souls of the nations.)
YLT 1 And the apostles and the brethren who are in Judea heard that also the nations did receive the word of God, 2 and when Peter came up to Jerusalem, those of the circumcision were contending with him, 3saying—`Unto men uncircumcised thou didst go in, and didst eat with them!’ 4 And Peter having begun, did expound to them in order saying, 5 `I was in the city of Joppa praying, and I saw in a trance a vision, a certain vessel coming down, as a great sheet by four corners being let down out of the heaven, and it came unto me; 6 at which having looked stedfastly, I was considering, and I saw the four-footed beasts of the earth, and the wild beasts, and the creeping things, and the fowls of heaven; 7 and I heard a voice saying to me, Having risen, Peter, slay and eat; 8 and I said, Not so, Lord; because anything common or unclean hath at no time entered into my mouth; 9 and a voice did answer me a second time out of the heaven, What God did cleanse, thou—declare not thou common. 10 `And this happened thrice, and again was all drawn up to the heaven, 11 and, lo, immediately, three men stood at the house in which I was, having been sent from Caesarea unto me, 12 and the Spirit said to me to go with them, nothing doubting, and these six brethren also went with me, and we did enter into the house of the man, 13 he declared also to us how he saw the messenger in his house standing, and saying to him, Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon, who is surnamed Peter, 14 who shall speak sayings by which thou shalt be saved, thou and all thy house. 15 `And in my beginning to speak, the Holy Spirit did fall upon them, even as also upon us in the beginning, 16 and I remembered the saying of the Lord, how he said, John indeed did baptize with water, and ye shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit; 17 if then the equal gift God did give to them as also to us, having believed upon the Lord Jesus Christ, I—how was I able to withstand God?’ 18 And they, having heard these things, were silent, and were glorifying God, saying, `Then, indeed, also to the nations did God give the reformation to life.’ (Until then all soul formation led to Hades or destruction)
The Oxford English Dictionary defines eschatology as “the part of theology concerned with death, judgment, and the final destiny of the soul and of humankind”.
Psychology (from the word psuche or soul) is an attempt to bring rational order to the spirit of a person. The spirit of a person looks for a sensible corporate body to inhabit, especially after suffering from the irrational chaos of a divorce or from the lack of proper human attachment. That’s why reasonable churches are so attractive. They have signification. Even the unclean spirits produced by the angels who left their proper habitation wanted to live in a body on land, preferably human.
Mark 5:8-13 (Entering a corporate pig body and drowning in the sea was an unpleasantly animated allegory portending the fate of the unclean humans, i.e., the unbelieving Jews who would form adulterated political alliances to try to keep their soilish old covenant body.)
8 For he said to him, `Come out, unclean spirit, out of the human,’ 9 and he was questioning him, `What is thy name?’ and he answered, saying, `Legion is my name, because we are many;’ 10 and he was begging him much, that he may not send them out of the territory. 11 And there was nearby the mountains, a great herd of swine was feeding, 12 and all the demons did call upon him, saying, `Send us to the swine, that into them we may enter;’ 13 and immediately Jesus gave them leave, and having come forth, the unclean spirits did enter into the swine, and the herd did rush down the steep place to the sea—and they were about two thousand—and they were suffocated in the sea.
A person said to be without a soul is a person void of meaning or morality. A person said to have a ‘broken spirit’ has lost vitality. Both persons still exist in a body, but they surely don’t have life to the fullest. The opposite of non-existence is life. But existence on Earth is both spiritual and physical. Yeshua came so we could have life to the fullest. The well-spoken life of Christ.
Romans 8:11
ECB 11 But if the Spirit of him who raised Yah Shua from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Messiah from the dead also enlivens your mortal bodies through his Spirit dwelling in you.
The English word “living” in Hebrews 4:12 is from the word ζάω | zaō | dzah’-o. The word “enlivens” in Romans 8:12 is from ζωοποιέω zōopoieō . We get our word zoo from that Greek word, but they obviously mean more than just physical animal life, since it is applied to God’s Word in Hebrews and Gods people in Romans. God’s Word is what defines true human living. When your soul is being reshaped by the Holy spirit, that vitality never falls into spiritual death. Since the new covenant was replacing the old covenant, God’s Word was the operating instrument for the soul transplant. The old soul was Adam, fallen into the old heart of stone. The living soul was called eschaton Adam in the old creation. He was sacrificed and resurrected with His human heart of flesh intact. As the new creation firstborn, He empathizes with His humanity.
Romans 8:29
CLV 29 that, whom He foreknew, He designates beforehand, also, to be conformed to the image of His Son, for Him (Yeshua) to be Firstborn among many brethren.”

They were moving into a new creation. The new living and blessed soul was born again into a new realm which defined a new family body with a new head human. The only spiritually living human soul was sacrificially put to death and then resurrected as firstborn, to form the incorruptible human domain of rulership over all the animal ‘kingdoms’ (no longer to be called unclean) in heaven and on earth, i.e. all creation.
James 3:1-6 (Warnings addressed to the 12 tribes in covenant transition. Their ill-spoken words were not the final Word.)
CLV 1 Not many should become teachers, my brethren, being aware that we shall be getting greater judgment.” 2 For we all are tripping much. If anyone is not tripping in word, this one is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body also.” 3 Now if we are thrusting the horses’ bits into their mouths, so that they are yielding to us, we are steering their whole body also with it.” 4 Lo! the ships also, being of such proportions, and driven by hard winds, are being steered by the least rudder, wherever the impulse of the helmsman is intending.” 5 Thus the tongue, also, is a little member and is grandiloquent. Lo! What amount of fire is kindling what amount of material!” 6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of injustice. The tongue is constituted among our members that which is spotting the whole body, and setting the wheel of our lineage aflame, and is set aflame by Gehenna. 7 For every nature, both of wild beasts and flying creatures, both of reptiles and those of the salt sea, is tamed and has been tamed by human nature.” 8Yet the tongue can no man tame – a turbulent evil, distended with death-carrying venom.” 9 With it we are blessing the Lord and Father, and with it we are cursing men (humans) who have come to be (come into being or born into the realm of humanity) in accord with God’s likeness.”
Sacrificing the old soul was done by obedient Jews, namely Yeshua. However Yahweh was waiting for the full number of martyrs to be sacrificed, as they also gave their life for the transition of souls. The destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70 was not part of the made holy and acceptable sacrifice. It was a judgement for disobedience.
Yeshua was the first spiritually living sacrifice to enter the true temple in Heaven. His sacrifice was essential in order to send the Holy Spirit to begin the the creation of the spiritually living body of believers, starting with 3000 Hebrews. They were the ones who were obediently putting the old man to death. Like Yeshua, they laid down their old covenant souls and even asked for forgiveness for their people. They were in the process of putting the old covenant body to death.
Acts 7:50-60 (Yeshua opens heaven for the first Hebrew martyr. Stephen goes to the sacrifice alter in heaven because he is a new covenant living soul. He gave his up his old covenant life defending the transition and pleading for his brethren to turn rather than face destruction. Obedient sacrifice, even to those in old realm death, is far different than the disobedience unto the destruction of the old realm.)
ECB 50 Has not indeed my hand made all these? 51 You hardnaped and noncircumcised in heart and ears, you ever oppose the Holy Spirit. As your fathers, also you. 52 Which of the prophets have your fathers not persecuted? And they slaughtered them who pre-evangelized concerning the coming of the Just – of whom you now become traitors and murderers: 53 who take the torah by the ordinance of angels, and guard it not. 54
STEPHANOS IS STONED
They hear these and are cut to the heart; and they gnash on him with their teeth: 55 but being full of the Holy Spirit, he stares into the heavens and sees the glory of Elohim; and Yah Shua standing at the right of Elohim, 56 and says, Behold, I observe the heavens open, and the Son of humanity standing at the right of Elohim. 57 And they cry out with a mega voice and hold their ears, and run violently upon him in unanimity, 58 and cast him from the city, and stone him: and the witnesses put down their garments at the feet of a youth called Shaul: 59 and they stone Stephanos: calling on Elohim, wording, Adonay Yah Shua, receive my spirit. 60 And he places his knees and cries with a mega voice, Adonay, set not this sin to their charge. – and saying this, he falls asleep.

Stephen entrusted his spirit to the Father in heaven because the eternal human soul was standing up for him at the right hand of God. The Father did not send that human soul to wait in Hades. Stephen would soon be joined by others under the alter in heaven asking, “How long till your old to new covenant transition work is done?”- (paraphrased) When Yeshua died, He entrusted His spirit into the hands of His Father too. His soul was not left in Hades. Work was left to be done by the hand of God. God’s Spirit worked Yeshua’s resurrection from the place of the dead ones. Yeshua died trusting His Father’s plan to start the new covenant resurrection work with Himself.
Revelation 6:9-11 (The dead in Christ were not quite into the most holy place with Yeshua. They were not even on the alter. They were under the alter of sacrifice. The faithful sacrifice of the old covenant body was not quite ready to be fully presented with the sacrifice of Jesus.)
YLT 9 And when he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those slain because of the word of God, and because of the testimony that they held, 10 and they were crying with a great voice, saying, `Till when, O Master, the Holy and the True, dost Thou not judge and take vengeance of our blood from those dwelling upon the land?’ 11 and there was given to each one white robes, and it was said to them that they may rest themselves yet a little time, till may be fulfilled also their fellow-servants and their brethren, who are about to be killed—even as they.
Matthew 10:28 (The unfaithful old soul of humanity was destroyed in AD 70. The faithful human soul now lives in heaven and on earth. The human realm of rulership has been expanded. We no longer die and go to Hades where nobody ruled except Yeshua. We can even enter the most holy place and not die, because we aren’t taking the destroyed flesh mode with us.)
YLT 28 `And be not afraid of those killing the body, and are not able to kill the soul, but fear rather Him who is able both soul and body to destroy in Gehenna. (The fire of Gehenna destruction referred to the AD 70 judgement of the old soul which was a flesh and blood covenant)
John 20:19-22 (On the eve of resurrection day, Jesus’ Jewish disciples are still unregenerate and afraid of the corrupt old creation humanity).
CLV 19 It being, then, the evening of that day, one of the sabbaths, and the doors having been locked where the disciples were gathered together, because of fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst and is saying to them, “Peace to you!” 20 And saying this, He shows them His hands also, and His side. The disciples, then, rejoiced at perceiving the Lord.” 21 Jesus, then, said to them again, “Peace to you! According as the Father has commissioned Me, I also am sending you.” 22 And saying this, He exhales and is saying to them, “Get holy spirit!”
