Redeeming The Rainbow Of Promise: Chiastically

The rainbow that appears after a storm represents an old covenant promise of perpetuity, rather than another destruction (save the eight humans onboard). However, the continual violence that had grieved God’s heart in Noah’s day was coming from the corrupted land of humanity again. The first century land of Jerusalem beat and murdered John, Jesus and His followers, establishing themselves as the most evil generation to ever live. No worse type of ungodly violence can ever come from that land. That generation murdered God’s Son and His people in the worst kind of way. They did the most inhumane things to the most humane people. So what happened to God’s promise to Noah during the 70AD destruction of His typical people? What became of the covenant of perpetuity, as symbolized by the rainbow? Did God break His promises to His chosen people? Show us the true colors of the covenant promise You made to Noah. Evidently, You didn’t want us to ever forget it.

The most grievous violence ever, came from the backward world of first century humans, not from Noah’s corrupted generation that was destroyed by water. The first century was more evil than Noah’s generation. Didn’t the wrath of God end the old covenant in AD70 because of their continued and mounting culpability in their violent acts of injustice toward His true people? By the time 70 AD arrived, continual violence was from the land of “Not His people”.

God made/updated His covenant with Noah to include never destroying His people again, yet God told the Jewish martyrs that He was about to take vengeance on the murderous people still in the land, for bearing false witness and killing their own brethren, whom God had declared innocent in his Son. If God destroyed His own people to cleanse the land of the most corrupt humanity ever, then did He break His rainbow of promise of perpetuity to Noah? Is God anticipating a more corrupt generation yet to come? Will they do something even worse in the future to try to stop God’s promise of perpetuating humanity on earth? Did God’s amendment fail to be realized?

“How can I be saved”, asked Jewish Nicodemus decades before the final prophesied destruction came to his land. Salvation was being offered to the Jews before their destruction. This time God was restarting His covenant people spiritually, by way of the Holy Spirit, rather than physically, by way of water rebirth. Jesus came to divide “His people” from “not His people”. He called all His people out before the end came to the most corrupt land of unbelief. All His chosen people got on board before their enemies on land were annihilated. God destroyed “not His people”. Belief was not found in the land when Jesus returned to avenge the Jewish martyrs under the alter in heaven. In Luke chapter 18 Jesus compares the justice for a Jewish widow with avenging God’s elect.

Luke 18:8

YLT 8 I say to you, that He will execute the justice to them quickly; but the Son of Man having come, shall he find the faith upon the [land] earth?

AD 70 was not for the purpose of sanctification. The believing Jews were already being sanctified. AD 70 was an act of retribution that came upon those who set themselves apart in their own plan for the typical land. AD 70 was an answer to the prayers of the faithful Jews under the alter in heaven, not the unbelieving Jews who were trying to save their old covenant. On earth, AD 70 granted new covenant relief from the old covenant hold outs. The unfaithful were being continuously hostile towards God’s true people. AD 70 was a relief to God’s people; an answer to heaven’s prayers for justice and earth’s prayers for relief from the unbelief that remained in the land. Destruction wouldn’t linger much longer, but the continuity of covenant came first.

Revelation 6:10-11

LITV 10 And they cried with a great voice, saying, Until when, holy and true Master, do You not judge and take vengeance for our blood, from those dwelling on the [land] earth? 11 And there was given to each one a white robe. And it was said to them that they should rest yet a little time, until might be fulfilled also the number of their fellow-slaves and their brothers, those being about to be killed, even as they.

God preliminarily demonstrated His never-ending covenant of promise through Hosea in a painfully personal parable of redemption. In this lived-out parable of two sisters, Hosea reassures Gomer that despite her former sin he himself will rescue her from her covenant death, even though she was being covenantally unfaithful. Gomer represents Judah and Hosea represents Jesus. Gomer’s sister represents the northern tribes in diaspora. The Hebrew name Gomer means “to end and complete” or “to fulfill” and Hosea means “salvation”. Art is when one thing represents another thing. A painting of a tree is not really the tree itself. The Bible is overflowing with the art of God’s revelation through and to His creations. Jesus really was God in the flesh. His masterful use of art was another confirmation that He ruled over all His creation.

The religion of the Jews was dying when God told Hosea to marry a harlot. God’s final annulment and remarriage to all Israel came through a Jew named Yeshua: a variant of Hosea, which also means salvation. Salvation arrived before the judgement to destruction came upon “not His people”. Like Hosea, Yeshua took the broken covenant upon Himself. Unlike Hosea, Jesus did not marry a harlot. He cleansed the old covenant harlot, as represented individually by Marry Magdalene, who was being ruled by 7 evil spirits before meeting Jesus.

Jesus ruled in the spirit realm, nevertheless Jesus sacrificed His faultless old covenant life to make a widow out of and cleanse His unfaithful nation. He reversed their covenant violations prior to their remarriage. He justified the widow. Salvation came to the Jews in the poetic Hebrew form of a chiasmus. Salvation was represented in the art forms of God’s choice, not mine. His revelation to His people undeniably made use of first century art forms that we aren’t so familiar with today. Who would dare say that the new covenant revelation from Yahweh was all science and no art? Even biblical math seems to be imbedded in God’s artful working toward redemption.

God has more creative skill to do art than we sometimes care to acknowledge. One thing often represented another thing in the Bible. That is the definition of art. Modern art actually embraces the chaos rather than the orderly arrangements. It’s important for the church to get an orderly eschatology that aligns with the Bible. The world is watching to see if we can be orderly in our interpretations.

Hosea wrote to the remnant of the southern tribes who were unfaithfully practicing old covenant Judaism in the land. Because of their harlotry with the nations, they were about to join the majority already in the diaspora. Unfaithful Jerusalem should anticipate a non-perpetual covenant life, yet the rainbow is a reminder of a unilateral promise to Noah to never renew the remnant of humanity again by way of destruction, in spite of their continued depravity and corruption. The typical Jews in first temple Jerusalem were called “not His people”, by Hosea. Their co-reign with Yahweh was taken away from them and given to Babylon in a half-time fulfillment of sabbath types. The promise to return to the land 70 years later was to perpetuate the covenant. Some of the Jews returned to the land for their grand finale of types, in fulfillment of God’s promises to “His people”. God’s covenant with His people did not end. It became eternal, as pictured by the rainbow.

After 70 years in diaspora, a remnant would trickle back into the land for 490 more unfaithful years, prior to the final destruction of the unbelievers, who had holed up in the land. But neither destruction by Babylon nor Rome caused the covenant renewal. It was Jesus who finally created faithfulness in His covenant, before the final destruction came to the land. The new covenant arrived before the old widow in unfaithful denial was finally put to death. The body of Israel in unbelief rejected the privilege to reengage with Yahweh’s new creation through the incorruptible husbandman of the land. Those who desired to remain married to the old unfaithful first born (dead as he already was) died as widows in their continued denial of their own revelation. They chose the darkness of denial over the highest privilege of putting on the white wedding clothes, as provided by the new husbandman. Darkness here represents lights out while white represents the full light of the never ending covenant.

After Babylon destroyed Jerusalem the first time, and before Rome did it again, God would come to Jerusalem in His Son and save all Israel through the sacrificial husbandman from the tribe of Judah (Yah Hudah). Covenant renewal came during the time of the Roman kingdom just as Daniel’s vision foresaw it. That new marriage engagement became a time of great tribulation for those now being God called, “the people of God”. Meanwhile, the violence coming from the land of unbelievers sealed their own fate as their personal guilt mounted.

The Holy Spirit betrothal into God’s new marriage covenant granted life to the age for “His people” only. Life to the age was the covenant salvation that all Israel had been promised. It was a first century anticipation. The spirit-realm betrothal into their marriage of salvation was initiated in the air over Jerusalem on Pentecost. Renewed covenant life came to the Jews in the realm of heaven coming down. The rainbow covenant of promise was being fulfilled from a higher place. Jesus was resurrected and ascended to reverse all the curses on Israel. He betrothed His Jewish people to Himself in the new covenant air above the typically doomed city of Jerusalem.

It was the first and only resurrection of it’s kind. It was the final and permanent covenant renewal. God did not purge His old covenant by way of another physical destruction this time. His people were renewed in the rebirth of the ‘air’. It was a spirit realm cleansing rather than a water rebirth. The sanctification came by way of covenant transition before the annihilation of types. Jesus was lifted up above the typical land to accommodate the Jews into their made-new covenant.

Dark and lonely as it became for Yeshua, as the old husbandman put to death in the air above Jerusalem, He did it for the joy of the spirit-realm engagement with His people in the new covenant air over Jerusalem. The covenant transition was accomplished by His grace-filled and righteous behavior. Jesus on the cross turned it all around for God’s chosen people only. He didn’t die in Jerusalem to bring covenant salvation to anyone accept God’s chosen people. He specifically came to save His own people from their looming destruction. Before the end came, Yeshua purified all His people, in the air that gives life, not in the flood of armies that ended old covenant typical life by taking away their breath. Those who rejected the new covenant breath, breathed their last old covenant breath in 70 AD.

The new covenant sanctification was previously pictured by the 4 human couples who typically got onboard and kept breathing throughout the destruction of the people of the land. Eight souls boarded the ark in order to perpetuate the adamic breath of humanity from their protected bubble in the ark. The sanctification of their typical marriages didn’t last long though. The not so rarefied boat air didn’t do it for them. It wasn’t long after the flood before one of Noah’s sons crossed covenant boundaries, like Reuben did with his father. According to the law, a son who sleeps with his father’s wife has uncovered his father’s nakedness. Do you think Noah got drunk alone? Ham got his own descendents cursed by usurping his father’s marriage covenant. Canaan was the cursed seed sown that day. The perpetual family of God is now being kept faithful and blessed by the new covenant firstborn in heaven. He won’t break covenant with his Father like Adam, the fallen angels, Ham and Reuben so egregiously did.

1 Peter 1:1-3

1to the elect sojourners of the diaspora … 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, He according to His great mercy having regenerated us to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, [Jesus died in order to send the Holy Spirit breath to regenerate His people. Regeneration granted “His people” life to the age. Life through the first century storm resulted in eternal life to all God’s chosen people.]

Hosea 2:19-23

YLT 19 And I have betrothed thee to Me to the age, And betrothed thee to Me in righteousness, And in judgment, and kindness, and mercies, 20 And betrothed thee to Me in faithfulness, And thou hast known Jehovah. 21 And it hath come to pass in that day, I answer—an affirmation of Jehovah, I answer the heavens, and they answer the earth. 22 And the earth doth answer the corn, And the new wine, and the oil, And they answer Jezreel. 23 And I have sowed her to Me in the land, And I have pitied Lo-Ruhamah, And I have said to Lo-Ammi, My people thou art, and it saith, My God!’

1 Peter 1:1

ECB 1
SALUTATION

1 Peter 2:9-10 – not a people” became “the people”

LITV 9 But you are “an elect race,” “a royal priesthood,” “a holy nation,” “a people for possession,” so that “you may openly speak of the virtues” of the One who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; LXX-Ex. 23:22; MT-Ex. 19:5, 6 10 you who then were “not a people, but now are the people” of God; “the one not pitied then but now pitied.” Hos. 1:6, 9 2:1, 23

you who then were “not a people, but now are the people” of God

Old covenant wannabes didn’t like losing their old claim to fame, so they persecuted the Jews who were re-covenanted in the new Holy Spirit betrothal coming down from Yahweh in the spirit realm above Jerusalem. Unbelieving Jews tried to reclaim their lost title “the people of God” in the violence of their flesh mode, rather than accept covenant life by the peaceable gift of the Holy Spirit. They said, “no” to God’s new proposal. God’s promises of salvation in the remarriage were not for them.

The unbelievers actually served Yahweh’s purpose during His covenant purification. Peter told the true people of the promise to count it all joy while they were suffering for doing good. It became part of their process of sanctification. It was also heaping more guilt upon those who refused to live. God was not about to annihilate His promised-land people. He was about to destroy the hardened murderers living in the land. He redeemed His people. He kept the rainbow of promise with the acceptable sacrifice that speaks a better word than Able’s acceptable sacrifice. Jesus’ acceptable sacrifice was made in Jerusalem in order to give rebirth to Jerusalem. It was Noah’s rainbow promise of perpetuity being fulfilled in the air above the typical promised land.

Romans 8:18-23

ECB 18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present season are not worthy of the glory about to be unveiled * in us. *verb of Revelation 19 For the intense anticipation of the creature awaits the apocalypse of the sons of Elohim. 20 For the creature subjugated to vanity – not voluntarily but through him who subjugated in hope, 21 so that the creature itself also liberates from the servitude of corruption into the liberty of the glory of the children of Elohim. 22 For we know that all creation co-sighs and co-travails in pain until now23 and not only they, but we also, who have the firstlings of the Spirit, even we also sigh among ourselves, awaiting the sonship – the redemption of our body.

The suffering of our generation assuredly serves God’s purposes too. God’s purpose today is not covenant transition. It is for the maturity of His never-ending new covenant people who will never face another divorce from God. Was the family of God covenantally redeemed or was it not? Are God’s people safe in His never-ending new covenant marriage or are God’s people still scattered in the diaspora of divorce? Are we outside of the new covenant Jerusalem today? Does the rainbow still remind us of God’s promise to save old covenant humanity from another destruction, or does it now remind us that He already did? Will another old covenant antichrist Jerusalem be restored for another violent attack to be launched on God’s elect during another covenant rebirth?

Hosea 1:7

ECB 7 and I mercy the house of Yah Hudah [Judah], and save them by Yah Veh their Elohim; and save them not by bow, or by sword, or by war, by horses, or by cavalry.

The believing Jews were not saved by the Roman calvary, but the redeemed people of God were actually relieved when Rome destroyed the deniers of reality. God’s creativity was true to form before the promised destruction came. He kept His promises.

Hosea 1:9-11

YLT 9 and He saith, `Call his name Lo-Ammi, for ye are not My people, and I am not for you; 10 and the number of the sons of Israel hath been as the sand of the sea, that is not measured nor numbered, and it hath come to pass in the place where it is said to them, Ye are not My people [in Jerusalem], it is said to them, Sons of the Living God11 and gathered have been the sons of Judah and the sons of Israel together [fulfilled in Jerusalem on Pentecost], and they have appointed to themselves one head [fulfilled in Jesus], and have gone up from the land, for great is the day of Jezreel.

Israel deserved judgement, but Israel was offered mercy through a God willing to suffer for the sins that kept them separated. The gospel of our Lord went directly to the Jews on Pentecost during the 6th prophetic day of their creation. God sent His Son to telos the 6th day of humanity in Israel and sabbatize all His people in the sanctification of His new marriage covenant.

The separation of the light into a rainbow of colors is called a dispersion. The 12 tribes in their dispersion had gathered in Jerusalem for their spirit-realm unification in the true light of the cosmos. Jesus reversed the curses on all His dispersed people in the classic ancient format known as chiasmus. Humanity was the first creation to enter the new creation and then the other nations came in. The image of God in man came complete in the new firstborn because Jesus already grew up in the land in the fullness of the image of God, as taught under Jewish law. He acted just like His Father who wrote the law. His image of His Father was completely resurrected, out from the old covenant of typical death and into the new covenant of spirit-realm life. Yeshua did everything in His heavenly Father’s very good name. Humans typically earn a good name by doing good work.

Luke 24:47-48

LITV 47 And repentance and remission of sins must be preached on His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem48 And you are witnesses [same word for martyrs] of these things.

Are there 6 or 7 colors displayed in a rainbow? Why does this old covenant promise hanging in the air (heaven) even matter? Is it a symbolic coincidence that a double rainbow reverses the dispersion of the colors of all God’s creation en route to the heavenly realm (promised land of never ending light)? Did you grow up with 8 colors in your crayon box? How many colors of light does a television set need to show you the world? Maybe we should become Amish and abandon all the bright colors lest we become proud like the fallen kings of old?

The Amish sacrifice the potential ostentatiousness of brightly colored clothing and buggies to try to steer clear of pride. Today we can easily make a colorful display of our selves, our houses and our cars, like only kings could do in the past. So should we all dress down in dull colors in order to better represent ourselves as God’s chosen people and avoid the hubris of those who became dissatisfied because they had so much? Maybe we should all watch black and white television to mute everyone’s proud proclivities there too. Would a dull adornment help to keep us humble?

At least we shouldn’t flaunt our pride in the flesh mode. To wave a rainbow flag in a claim to be covered in God’s old covenant promises of protection while continuing to parade my personal sin on the public roadways is certainly a display of a foreboding pride in action. Who wants to be associated with that ungrateful attitude of hubris? We live in hypocritical denial when we claim the safety of an imaginary ‘moral high ground’ while placing imaginary guilt on everyone who doesn’t go along with the hypocrisy. Jesus was most angry with the hypocrites who put the blame on everyone but themselves.

Show us true colors.

God Himself adorns His creatures in bright colors, and it doesn’t always go so well for them in their exalted array. God famously adorned the king of Tyre in a most beautiful and costly environment. The king fell for his highly dignified rank rather than stand with the truth of reality. He became self deceived. He overrated his already awesome place in God’s creation.

None of us have to resist the temptations that come with being number one in God’s creation, like the King of Tyre did. The king of Tyre fell for his very personal temptation and he became unreal. He then toppled in his overreach. Ezekiel associates the fall of the king of Tyre with the original fall of Satan himself, and for the same apparent reason. Dissatisfied with God’s overabundant providence for him, he became enamored with his personal imagination.

Infatuation with self over Yahweh is the most personal form of idolatry. It is hilarious that even science tells us that the immature homo erectus man led to a self nullification. Science today tells us that homo erectus man naturally died out for lack of human sophistication. Homo erectus couldn’t procreate themselves into modernity while being set apart from the natural development of humanity. Their tools didn’t work for them. They failed to join humanity in progress. They went the way of extinction.

Ezekiel turns from a past event to a future event: when the eternal dwelling place of God’s imagers would become the New Jerusalem, rather than the Garden of Eden. Surely the new Jerusalem doesn’t need to be dressed down to keep from falling out of the new covenant creation. The King of our eternal place of adornment is the king of glory Himself. He has all the personal sophistication of modernized humanity. He took his humanity from here on earth to prepare a new place for His people to be with Him in heaven. Only He can handle being surrounded with all the glory of the cosmos without falling for Himself. He humbled Himself and entered humanity center stage, to redeem His creation from the dark place of the de-creation that they were all headed for in fallen Adam. Adam was the first human to fall out of his place by reaching too high on the one forbidden tree.

Adam’s environment wasn’t depraved. He was. Working with God in His image was the highest place on earth for Adam to live and grow up in. It wasn’t good for man to be alone even there, said Yahweh. His eyes had to be opened outside of himself. He had to face his own depravity in a personal flesh and blood contradistinction. Not facing his own flesh counterpart in the garden was declared not good, so God made a help mate suitable for him. God made a woman from Adam’s flesh body to oppose Adam in the garden. The man and woman saw things differently. One had a more masculine point of view and the other more feminine. Evidently we won’t need to marry and procreate forever, since their is no flesh and blood in heaven. Earth is where heaven continues to get populated and our eyes continue to get opened. We will know as we are known in Heaven. Our eyes will be open upon arrival.

Heavenly bodies are born in the spirit realm not the physical realm. We will know as we are known in the eyes-wide-open place of heaven. Relationships in heaven are more real, not less real. Reality becomes more unmistakable in the spirit realm of heaven. Yahweh in Yeshua became the final eye-opener for the bride rather than the groom. Old Jerusalem was released from Adam’s side on the cross so she could spiritually marry up with the complete humanity of Yeshua in her reformation. Humanity was not immature in Jesus as it always was in Adam. Jesus eyes were fully open. He died as eschatos Adam to properly open the eyes of all His people.

Matthew 4:8-19

ECB 8 Again, Diabolos takes him to an extremely high mountain and shows him all the sovereigndoms of the cosmos and their glory; 9 and words to him, All these I give you, whenever you fall and worship me. 10 Then Yah Shua words to him, Go, Satan: for it is scribed, Worship Yah Veh your Elohim, and liturgize him only. Deuteronomy 6:13, 10:20 11 Then Diabolos forsakes him: and behold, angels come and minister to him. 12 And Yah Shua hears that Yahn is betrayed; and he departs to Galiyl; 13 and leaving Nazareth he goes and settles in Kaphar Nachum at the seaside in the boundaries of Zebulun and Naphtali: 14 to fulfill/shalam that rhetorized through Yesha Yah the prophet, wording, 15 The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali by the way of the sea, beyond Yarden, Galiyl of the goyim: 16 the people sitting in darkness see a mega light; and to them sitting in the region and shadow of death light rises. Isaiah 9:1, 2 17
YAH SHUA PREACHES, REPENT!
From that time Yah Shua begins to preach and to word, Repent! For the sovereigndom of the the heavens approaches. 18
YAH SHUA CALLS PETROS AND ANDREAS
And walking by the sea of Galiyl, Yah Shua sees two brothers, Shimon worded Petros and Andreas his brother casting a net into the sea: for they are fishers: 19 and he words to them, Come after me; and I make you fishers of humanity.

Thanks to the Hebrews in diaspora, humanity had pervaded the sea of nations prior to humanity’s covenant transition. Teaching true humanity from the new Jerusalem is forever without the typical land borders now. The New Jerusalem is the place of adornment prepared by Jesus for His people to live in. It is kept incorruptible in heaven itself, where true humanity is most privileged to live and thrive in perpetuity. God’s people were placed into an even higher order than the angels when they moved into their final new covenant land. So, should we who live in God’s heaven-realm covenant land steer clear of or ignore His symbolic colors there? How can we read The Revelation of Jesus and not notice the foundation walls that wrap His city in 12 layers of brilliant colors?

The number of colors in the city wall is 12, like a double rainbow that mysteriously appears to take on another dimension skyward. Since Yeshua ascended to heaven to prepare a place for His people there, His new city now extends earthward, coming down from the heavenly realm. And why does this colorful wall surrounding the new city of Jerusalem have 12 white gates? And why do we all wear white robes in this city built in heaven on a foundation of 12 colors? The body of Christ is pictured in white of course. Only in white can we unite to reflect God’s glory. White unites creation in His glorious light. His city is filled with His reflective imagers. Jesus is the King of glory who didn’t and won’t ever fall for anything pretentious or unreal. He keeps His city united in reality. The new Jerusalem is grounded in heaven to the solid and secure Rock of all reality. The new covenant Firstborn is humanity proper; forever. Death is His story now. Death is the old covenant History of the new covenant firstborn who will never die again.

Ezekiel 28:12-19

YLT 12 `Son of man [‘âdâm], lift up a lamentation for the king of Tyre, And thou hast said to him: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Thou art sealing up a measurement, Full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. 13 In Eden, the garden of God, thou hast been, Every precious stone thy covering, Ruby, topaz, and diamond, beryl, onyx, and jasper, Sapphire, emerald, and carbuncle, and gold, The workmanship of thy tabrets, and of thy pipes, In thee in the day of thy being produced, have been prepared. 14 Thou art an anointed cherub who is covering, And I have set thee in the holy mount, God thou hast been, In the midst of stones of fire thou hast walked up and down. 15 Perfect art thou in thy ways, From the day of thy being produced, Till perversity hath been found in thee. 16 By the abundance of thy merchandise They have filled thy midst with violence, And thou dost sin, And I thrust thee from the mount of God, And I destroy thee, O covering cherub, From the midst of the stones of fire. 17 High hath been thy heart, because of thy beauty, Thou hast corrupted thy wisdom because of thy brightness, On the earth I have cast thee, Before kings I have set thee, to look on thee, 18 From the abundance of thy iniquity, By the perversity of thy traffic, Thou hast polluted thy sanctuaries, And I bring forth fire from thy midst, It hath devoured thee, And I make thee become ashes on the earth, Before the eyes of all beholding thee. 19 All knowing thee among the peoples Have been astonished at thee, Wastes thou hast been, and thou art not—to the age.’

Jacob addresses the 12 tribes in the diaspora, as if only real believers were being saved from the imminent destruction of Yahweh’s presence, in vengeance. The old covenant glitter of gold and silver is pictured as the fading world of Jewish glory that was poisoning them with the pride of overreach.

James 5:2-8 [Jacob 5:2-8]

CLV 2 Your riches have rotted and your garments have become food for moths. 3 Your gold and silver corrode and their venom will be for a testimony against you, and the venom will be eating your flesh as fire. You hoard in the last days.” 4 Lo! the wage of the workers, who mow your country places, which has been withheld by you, is crying, and the imploring of the reapers has entered into the ears of the Lord of hosts.” 5 You luxuriate on the earth, and squander. You nourish your hearts as in a day of slaughter.” 6 You convict, you murder the just; he is not resisting you.” 7 Be patient, then, brethren, till the presence of the Lord. Lo! the farmer is waiting for the precious fruit of the land, being patient about it, till it should be getting the early and late showers.” 8 You also, then, be patient; establish your hearts, for the presence of the Lord is near.”

There were two possible destinies for the Jews during their covenant transition. Isaiah 52:14 is speaking about a negative kind of astonishment. This Hebrew term (shamem) is never used to describe a positive astonishment. They were appalled at the total devastation of Jesus’ human form. Humanity was pictured in total desolation and ruins on the cross. In Isaiah 49:19 shamem describes the land of Judah after the Chaldean armies had demolished almost all the land of humanity. Isaiah spoke of their desolate place. Jesus did the unexpected and took on their darkest death. Nothing more unjust can ever be done in the land of Yahweh. He rescued His people from their otherwise dark covenant ending, even as their responsibility for it increased. He saved them from their imminent desolation. The proud ones who did not repent after seeing their own humanity die on the cross, continued toward the destructive end of old covenant humanity.

Israel’s pride in the flesh insisted that only they could be the “chosen people”. Paul argues that nobody deserves mercy and that the Creator has the right to do as He sees fit with all of His creation, not just the Jewish creation that was first to enter the new covenant, even all of the nations who would join them there. Paul shows that this includes God’s right to save those He chose from the Gentiles, as well as those He chose from the Jewish people. Israel in diaspora was no longer known as “my people” until the Holy Spirit arrived in Jerusalem, where Israel had gathered for Pentecost. In the same place where they were called, “not my people” by Hosea, they were called, “the people of God”, by Peter. Thereafter, Gentiles too, through faith in Christ, joined the 12 sons of Jacob who joined the 12 apostles in their commission. The 12 tribes and the 12 apostles were reborn to become the true sons of the living God, by the Holy Spirit sent from the commissioner. The 24 ribbed human body of old covenant Christ was put to death and resurrected to become the new covenant body. The old covenant body was entirely decommissioned. But not before it became a new covenant body.

Romans 8:16

YLT 16 The [Holy Spirit] Spirit himself doth testify with our spirit, that we are children of God;

Pride came and remained before the fall of the beautiful city in AD70, but God can’t be ostentatious or proud. God is never overly ambitious. All reality in heaven and on earth is His. We are pretentious when we claim to be more than we can be or less than we already are. When we claim an unreal status for ourselves then we want to usurp God’s creation in our imaginary image rather than rule creation with Him in His good providence. The Jews who were too proud of their luxurious temple complex (that was made even more opulent by King Herod) remained obstinate. Did the unbelievers from the tribe of Judah fall for all the glitter in the land of types? The anti-Christ people rejected the greater glory of the New Jerusalem because they couldn’t see it in the flesh of their old covenant eyes.

So why stop with subduing the colors of clothing and cars? Why allow colors in my yard or in my house? I personally wouldn’t count on color avoidance to keep me from falling into the deception of overrating myself in the new creation. John fell down in worship as he overrated the messenger of the Revelation of Jesus! Was it the angel’s fault for appearing too awesome to John? God made his true appearance that way. The stability of John’s position in the new Jerusalem wasn’t actually dependent on John. When John was overawed by the angelic creature, he was immediately prompted to return to standing. Nobody changed into dull clothing for John’s protection or for his recovery. The colors that surrounded the new Jerusalem weren’t removed from John’s vision either. The messenger from heaven used words of truth to correct John’s misperception of reality.

The truth of God’s creation is a better antidote for the poison of pride than colorless cars and clothing, unless you just carry God’s Word for show and are never really enlightened by it. The truth will set you free no matter what color shirt you have on. You don’t have to physically wear white to become a new covenant Christian. But spiritually you do. You are covered by the white robe of Christ’s righteousness in the heavenly realm of existence. We are spirit-realm united by His good conscience. You are not actually waiting to be covered by the rainbow promise that God made to Noah. The perpetuity of covenant is in the white robe of the Messiah. That old covenant promise was fulfilled in the Messiah. We rule in His image. We worship in His image. We are not still waiting for God’s image in man to arrive so we can safely rule the creation with Him sometime in the future.

John the baptist died dressed down in the old covenant, like Jesus did. The old covenant glory faded to nothing after the completed transition of God’s people. God’s people were spiritually united as co-workers covered by the glory of the commissioner. We are safe from falling out of covenant in God’s abundant providence. We are saved by the rejected and resurrected messiah. He humbly took upon Himself the proud display of their fall in the blackout of opulent old Jerusalem. His 3 hours in the reality of their spiritual darkness opened the way for His people to follow Him out of the dark and into the full light of His never ending seventh Day. John saw The Revelation on the Lord’s Day – Revelation 1:10.

Revelation 22:8-9

ECB 8 And I Yahn see and hear these: and when I hear and see, I fall to worship in front of the feet of the angel who shows me these. 9 And he words to me, See – not: for I am your co-servant, and of your brothers the prophets, and of them who guard the words of this scroll: worship Elohim.

When John was taken to a high mountain and shown the glory of the new Jerusalem descending out of heaven, it was not a test from a fallen angel. Unlike the devil who tried to tempt Jesus with the typical kingdom, this angel actually stops John from falling into messenger worship, with the same words Jesus said to the devil who desired to be worshipped: “worship God”. It was not a fallen angel sent to deceive John, rather a good messenger revealed the truth to John. It was the glory of God in the righteousness of Jesus Christ that the angel wanted John to see and worship in The New Jerusalem. Jesus is the God-sent messenger we can properly worship. He is the fullness of the image of God standing in the resurrected temple of His body. The body of Christ is the new covenant temple where God’s image forever stands true. The new covenant husbandman can’t be darkened or toppled. He reluctantly agreed to take the old man’s place in His old covenant obedience, even unto death.

John 14:8-11

CLV 8 Philip is saying to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficing us.” 9 Jesus is saying to him, “So much time I am with you, and you do not know Me, Philip! He who has seen Me has seen the Father, and how are you saying, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Are you not believing that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me? The declarations which I am speaking to you I am not speaking from Myself. Now the Father, remaining in Me, He is doing His works.” 11 Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me; yet if not, believe Me because of the works themselves.”

Revelation 21

ECB 1 THE NEW HEAVENS AND THE NEW EARTH
And I see the new heavens and a new earth: for the first heavens and the first earth passed away; and there is not still a sea. 2
THE NEW YERU SHALEM
And I Yahn see the holy city – new Yeru Shalem descending from Elohim from the heavens prepared as a bride adorned for her man. 3
THE NEW RELATIONSHIP OF ELOHIM WITH THE HOLY
9THE BRIDE
And one of the seven angels comes to me – who had the seven phials full of the seven final plagues and speaks with me, wording, Come hither! I show you the bride, the woman of the Lamb. 10
THE NEW YERU SHALEM And in spirit, he bears me to a mega and high mountain and shows me that megalopolis the holy Yeru Shalem descending from the heavens from Elohim; 11 having the glory of Elohim: and her light is like to a stone most precious as a jasper stone, crystaline; 12 having a wall mega and high, having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names epigraphed, being the twelve scions of the sons of Yisra El: 13 by the rising three gates; by the north three gates; by the south three gates; and by the lowering three gates. 14 And the wall of the city has twelve foundations and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. 15
THE MATERIALS OF THE NEW YERU SHALEM
And the structure of the wall is jasper: and the city is pure gold, like pure glass: 19 and the foundations of the wall of the city are adorned with all precious stones: the first foundation, jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, emerald; 20 the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolyte; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprasus; the eleventh, jacinth; the twelfth, amethyst. 21 And the twelve gates are twelve pearls: each one gate is one pearl: and the broadway of the city is pure gold – as diaphanous glass. 22
THE OMISSIONS OF THE NEW YERU SHALEM
And I see no nave [temple] therein; for Yah Veh El Sabaoth and the Lamb are the nave [temple] thereof: 23 and the city needs neither the sun nor the moon to manifest therein: for the glory of Elohim lights it and the Lamb is the candle thereof24 And the goyim of the saved walk in the light thereof: and the sovereigns of the earth bring their glory and honor therein: 25 and the gates thereof are never no way shut by day; for there is no night there: 26 and they bring the glory and honor of the goyim therein: 27 and aught that profanes or does an abomination or a lie never no way enters therein – except those scribed in the scroll of life of the Lamb.

While the old covenant still existed, the High priest was required by God to display on his clothing a different gemstone for each of the 12 tribes of God’s old covenant creation. The priest donned the 12 colored gems on his breastplate before entering into God’s presence! In the new covenant, 12 colored gemstones are pictured as the city’s foundations. However, it’s the 12 apostles rather than the tribes whose names are written on the 12 foundation stones of the new Jerusalem. The new Jerusalem wears 12 colors like an old covenant priest. The priesthood of believers is inside the perpetual city, joined in white. The 12 bands of apostolic colors and the 12 adjoining white pearls from the sea (diaspora) are a constant reminder that salvation is of the Jews. Jesus died to specifically save the Jews first. It was the means to enlighten the otherwise dark ending of humanity. The Jews who didn’t transition from the dead eschatos Adam to resurrected new covenant man, ended their lives in the old covenant darkness of annihilation. Jesus went through their death and overcame the darkness for them, before the end came.

The 12 tribes in diaspora became the first international gate openers for the bright new city, typically by way of the pre-evangelism, even prior to Pentecost. The 12 gates are represented by 12 white pearls from the sea (the 12 tribes in diaspora). John is given a vision to describe the indescribable using analogies to precious gems and metals. The only way to Join the reborn Jews in their scintillating heavenly city was to enter in through one of their 12 pearly white gates. We often speak of Peter as manning a single gateway to heaven. He was the first to be told to let Gentiles in but he is portrayed in the foundation in Revelation. The walls are associated with the 12 tribes. Pearly gates from the sea means that the city walls are opened to all the nations, on all sides. But how would you hear this good news if someone didn’t tell you before you die?

Was the new covenant the good news? The 12 tribes placed into the pre-evangelism of the diaspora were followed up with the 12 Jewish evangelists whom Christ sent out (apostilized) from old Jerusalem before she completely apostatized into darkness. The only way these born-again Jews would let you in through their white city gates is clothed in the same white robe of righteousness provided to them by the righteousness of their commissioner. It represents the same white wedding garment every person in the new covenant engagement was wearing. The only way to be sanctified was by being re-engaged by the Holy Spirit sent from above. The final day of redemption was the fulfillment of the final feast of Tabernacles for the chosen ones who were wearing the wedding garments. It was the news of the Day and it was good news for the Jewish believers. The end of the old world was near.

White robes represent all of creation tabernacled together in one new and unified covenant body of righteousness. If you are still claiming to be in the old splintered covenant in dispersion, then you are covenentally naked. You are claiming to be in a marriage covenant that no longer offers covering because it no longer exists. The non elect in Jerusalem were spiritually unclothed when AD70 arrived. The old had already transitioned out of their temporary animal covering into the permanent white robe of the new covenant humanity, prior to the final re-creation/de-creation event. Animal sacrifice will never cover for God’s covenant people again.

Jesus put an and to the animal sacrifice forgiveness for Jews in Jerusalem in AD70. Only the Jews who said, “blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord”, entered God’s day of complete salvation. Those who tried to curse the new Jewish family, finally perished in their proud denial of reality, like the King of Tyre. It was the second time the land was given rest after 7 x 70 years of offenses. But this time the sacrifices for old covenant sin permanently ended. God would not grant them one more year of clemency, no matter how many animals they continued to sacrifice in their pride. Gehenna fires fueled from the rubbish within the land destroyed their old covenant place of adornment.

They were so glaringly deceived by their riches that they thought they could keep usurping Yahweh from their fallen place of beauty. The old Jewish temple was destroyed by Gehenna fire along with the arrogant ones who chose the typical temple of king Herod over the eternal King of glory. Jesus went to prepare a place for God’s image to live in the heavenly realm of the true temple. The kingdom of God arrived without observation because the new humanity lives in the humanity of Christ in the spirit realm. The old covenant ended in a visible display of typical destruction. The King of glory is not deceived by the glory because it is all His. The place of typical adornment became the place of torment for “not His people”.

“I lay down my life for the sheep. . . I have authority to take it up again” (John 10:15,18). “Destroy this temple, in three days I will raise it up” (John 2:19). [I am moving My old covenant tabernacle to new covenant meeting place with God.] “Whoever comes to me I will never cast out” [of the temple of true humanity] (John 6:37). That’s the good news Jesus gave to the dead and dying Jews before their second old covenant death arrived. The second death was not the cleansing of the temple. The church was completely relocated and made clean before AD70. When Jesus cleansed the typical temple, the church was still there. Humanity was still typical and mortal in the old covenant temple.

2 Corinthians 5:4

CLV 4 For we also, who are in the tabernacle, are groaning, being burdened, on which we are not wanting to be stripped, but to be dressed, that the mortal may be swallowed up by life.”

ROYGBIV is an acronym for the sequence of hues commonly described as making up a rainbow: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. Wikipediahttps://en.wikipedia.org › wiki › ROYGBIV

The biblical fulfillment united God’s old covenant creation in white: as symbolized by the white gates and the white robes provided by the new covenant King. The number of tribes and apostles who were united in the new city of light was a multiple of 6 not 7. Humanity is the 6th day creation, sabbatized by the very good work of the 6th day messiah. The king of glory is the Lord of the Sabbath. He hung unclothed on the dark cross in an old covenant annulment in order to save His people from the looming darkness of their old creation death, into the full light of His never ending 7th day, before the fire from within destroyed the vain glory of the temple and its idolatrous worshippers. Gehenna fire represented God’s presence to unbelieving Jews only, not to believing Jews. Jews who believed in God’s covenant renewal were not destroyed in their pride. They were joined to the glory of the new covenant place that far surpassed the fallen glory of the old covenant place, because the King of all creation enlightens the new Jerusalem without falling for it. Jesus obediently laid down His old covenant soul to save the old covenant chosen ones. He keeps them safe in new covenant Jerusalem.

It should be ROYGBIV without the I for indigo according to the most popular crayon box. Remove the brown and black crayons and only six colors remain, in the order of the rainbow hues: ROYGBV. If you want seven basic colors in your rainbow you might add a second purple/blue hue called indigo.

Purple is the royal or kingly color and Adam means red. Below red is the unseen realm of infra red and above violet is the unseen realm of ultra violet. In the original rainbow, purple faces earth and red faces heaven. Heavenly rulers look down while humanity looks up. The second creation rainbow is higher up in the heavenly realm and harder to see. It has a reversed color order. The king of heaven came down to earth and took humanity up to heaven. He reversed the curses and returned to heaven.

The first rainbow is a promise (covenant) from God that He will not destroy His covenant people with water again. Jesus would be born into the land and die there so humanity could be raised up to the heavenly realm, higher than the angels. “Next time fire” doesn’t apply to the people of the promises. By way of the new covenant the old promises were kept. The presence of God is not destructive for His chosen people. Is fire really a new covenant caveat that explains away the promise to never destroy God’s covenant people by water again? Isn’t the good news that God’s people would never perish at all, not by any means? None of God’s people perished in 70 AD.

Those in the first resurrection weren’t harmed at all by the second death in the lake of fire. Next time I come to my people it will be with fire rather than water would have been really bad news for God’s people. Unless the fire of destruction brought relief to God’s chosen ones by destroying those not in covenant with Yahweh: by way of the presence of Yeshua. Eschaton Adam came to release the bride from His old covenant side on the old covenant cross in old covenant Jerusalem. One might think that Jesus came to save His people from their second old covenant death.

The old covenant widow was set free by Jesus’ death to reengage with Him in the new marriage covenant. The widow in denial of reality persecuted the widow in waiting. Jesus divided His people between the ostentatious Jews and the true Jews. Jesus didn’t come to save anybody out of His new covenant. He saved His people into His new covenant. All His people were moved into the new covenant body of Christ and were no longer on track to be destroyed by fire as “not His people”. They were on track to be relieved by the annihilation of “not His people”.

2 Thessalonians 1:7

LITV 7 and to give you, those being troubled, relief with us at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from Heaven with angels of His power,

Jesus sent His new covenant breath to engage every one of His chosen people. None of his people perished with the old ostentatious place; neither by drowning nor by burning. Like the light that forms the second rainbow, Jesus was baptized twice, in order to reverse the typical ending of the old covenant. The Holy Spirit reversed the order of creation in the air above the old covenant land. In the new covenant creation, Humanity was the first to enter rather than the last. The Jews in Jerusalem on Pentecost were born again and then the animals they were taming were invited into their newly sanctified human family. The last days of the old covenant was both a fulfillment of the typical flood destruction and a promise kept. He will never destroy His covenant people.

Carbuncle relates to the tribe of Judah. It is in the top row in the breastplate, and in the King of Tyre’s treasure. It is a glittering red color. Jesus left heaven to become a son of humanity in order to transition His humanity into the heavenly realm covenant.

Jesus said He had second baptism to undergo. His first baptism confirmed His 6th day humanity as very good already, as did His dazzling white clothing in the transfiguration scene upon the mountain. Unlike Moses, Jesus Himself would take His people into the promised place. He put Himself in the darkness of the covenant transition to take their place in their death, by going under water for them, not for Himself. He fulfilled the rainbow promise God made to Noah, by putting Himself in the middle of the darkness. On the cross Jesus was baptized again, but this time it was for the dead ones in the land and in the diaspora. The second rainbow is made by the second baptism by water. Jesus took the old covenant destruction upon Himself in order to fulfill the rainbow promise God made to Noah.

The mirror image of the first rainbow is refracted and or reflected a second time through the water in the air. The covenant reversal came before the old family of humanity died in the dark. The believing Jews joined Christ’s reversal of their covenant curses in order to finish humanity in the good works of Jesus and join Him in His never ending 7th day. Unbelievers chose to continue into the darkness of their typical de-creation. They didn’t follow Jesus through the reversal of covenant curses. The only way out of the dark was to admit to their dark works and follow Jesus into the full light of His chiastic fulfillment: into the never ending 7th day. Humanity was telosed in the very good Way of the Lord. The old covenant hold outs believed the worst kind of murders could stop the regime change. Ironically it actually sealed the deal for them. No matter how many people they murdered they could not save themselves.

Jesus entered the darkness of their old covenant death in order to reverse their 6th day old covenant curses. It is the second baptism of the light (by water) that reverses the color order and hangs the enigmatic second rainbow of promises fulfilled. Old covenant promises were fulfilled in the higher realm of the new covenant. Jesus first baptism introduced Him to His very good, old covenant, Holy Spirit work of human ministry. His second baptism enabled His chosen ones to join Him in His very good Holy Spirit ministry, in the heavenly realm of the new covenant enlightenment.

When Peter speaks of the flood waters of Noah, he chides the mockers for saying nothing different appears to be happening. The end of the old covenant did not come after all. Unbelievers in the land were still mocking with this saying just prior to AD70. Seedtime and harvest continued to be the timekeepers for their appointed sacrifices and festivals. The end of the old world was not seen by them until AD70 actually made it physically undeniable. Jerusalem and its typical temple burned to the ground in the end. No believers perished in the covenant transition, just as Jesus promised in John 3:16 and as God promised in the rainbow sign to Noah. The pretenders were typically claiming God’s old covenant rainbow promises wrapped up in the flesh-realm covenant, behind the walls of old Jerusalem.

The first rainbow commemorates a water destruction of humanity; never to be repeated. Amazingly and supernaturally (and in the fullness of humanity) the order of the rainbow was reversed, by the death of Christ and His ascension back to His higher place of glory. None of His covenant people perished. All the unbelievers perished. They were not His people of promise. He broke no promises to His covenant people. Gehenna fire was a threat to old covenant unbelievers only. Believing Jews were the transition Jews. Jesus brought them out of their darkness and into His full light of day. The rest were left naked when the old world ended. They denied the spiritual resurrection of the true husbandman they had unclothed and put to death in their flesh. The 12 apostles and 12 tribes were fully clothed and reunited in the belief of Christ before the end of the transition days.

So why are their 8 colors in the most popular crayon box? Television uses six colors along with black and white to picture every thing in the world. A box of 8 crayons has the 6 colors of the rainbow in order, flanked by brown and black. White crayons don’t show up much on white paper. Crayola has been introducing us to God’s world of colors for over a hundred years. There are only 3 essential colors needed to picture God’s entire creation with light. Black re-presents no light and white re-presents all of the colors that exist.

12 Color Basics – Usability.gov

Three Primary Colors (Ps): Red, Yellow, Blue. Three Secondary Colors (S’): Orange, Green, Violet.

Six Tertiary Colors (Ts): Red-Orange, Yellow-Orange, Yellow-Green, Blue-Green, Blue-Violet, Red-Violet, which are formed by mixing a primary with a secondary.

From these color combo basics we logically see 3, 6 or 12 colors in the rainbow, not 7. Indigo is the only one of the 6 tertiary colors we name in a so called “7-color rainbow”. If we named all 6 tertiary colors we would see 12 colors in our rainbow. Tertiary means 3rd level. Violet is a second level color made by mixing the primary colors: blue and red. Indigo is a third level color made by mixing a primary with a secondary: blue and violet. Whether we are accustomed to seeing 6 or 7 colors, a double rainbow reverses them, displaying a perfect Hebrew chiasm in the sky, with a dark transition band between the two mirror images.

This color ring shows 24 hues of red, yellow and blue

We see 6 distinct colors because of the way our receptors were created to work. People have three sets of cones with specific peak frequencies that determine which colors we see. It’s the combination of receptors which allows us to see the six colors: 3 primary + 3 secondary. Six basic colors can be also seen in a television color bar chart – usually eight bars. Black, white and six basic colors make television possible. Black reflects no colors and white is all 6 colors combined. There may be an infinite number of colors in our world, but scientists say we can only see about ten million of them. All of them come from the 3 primary colors of the rainbow. The 3 primary colors form the 3 secondary colors. Primary colors can not be made by mixing. They are the 3 essential colors. All visible light depends on the original trinity of colors, no matter what color we are seeing.

A complete rainbow could be called a halo. We use the word halo to refer to a symbolic crown of heavenly light that rests on the head of God’s chosen people. This ring of white light we imagine is symbolic of God’s approval and protection over His chosen ones. Blue and red don’t touch each other in a rainbow. Somehow they meet each other to make purple anyway. The telos of humanity is represented by white. The fullness of humanity is appropriately dressed in white rather than divided by tribal colors. New covenant humanity was united in heaven and earth and made immortal. Only the white robe of Yeshua the high priest in heaven could unite the 12 tribal colors of His people in the presence of Yahweh without suffering the destruction of His parousia (presence).

The colors of the halo surrounding the Sun here is in reverse order of the rainbow. Halos are seen when looking toward the light source. The rainbow is best seen in morning or evening looking away from the sun not at it. If the sun were directly overhead the rainbow would be cast as a halo flat on the perimeter of the horizon. All we would see is the 2D edge of the plane or the rainbow which looks just like nothing. As the sun sets, the two dimensional picture of a rainbow stands up for our reflective viewing. The rainbow is reflected off of the water in the western sky in the morning and off of the water in the eastern sky in the evening.

The prophet Malachi speaks of the twofold experience of the Day of the Lord in this way: “Surely the day is coming; it will burn like a furnace. All the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble, and that day that is coming will set them on fire,” says the Lord Almighty. “Not a root or a branch will be left to them. But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings.

The usual color order of a rainbow is shown in this halo. At first I thought of the upside down effect on the picture entering a basic pinhole camera, but that wouldn’t actually change the appearance at all. Even if the hole in the cloud turned this halo upside down it would not change its color orientation. Halos are sometimes formed through many-sided ice crystals while rainbows are formed from round raindrops. We look toward the source of light when we see a halo and away from the source when we see a rainbow.

Notice, that for some the Day is burning with wrathful heat, but for the justified in Christ, it is a sunny day wherein the Sun (Son) of righteousness will bring warmth and healing in His wings (Mal 4:1-3). Infrared is associated with warmth and healing while ultraviolet is associated with the destruction of the mortal flesh body. If we rose high into the sky our flesh would freeze off even as it burned off. Jesus brought a revamped heaven and earth together through His spirit-realm body that can’t die anymore. A cloud received Him out of their sight and hid His bodily transition from our physics to the realm of heaven. He fulfilled the heavenly picture of the double rainbow that He had imbedded in His creation. He removed the flesh-body covenant and replaced it with a spiritual-body covenant. None of His covenant people perished in the covenant realm transition. Through the Son the Jews could see God and live. Outside the body of Christ people perish in God’s presence. The cross was not the end of Jesus; it was not God’s last word. Jesus didn’t just die in the dark. He rose from the dead and brought forth His new creation in all its fullness and glory.

Matthew 23:37-40

ECB 37
YAH SHUA LAMENTS OVER YERU SHALEM
O, Yeru Shalem! Yeru Shalem! – you who slaughter the prophets and stone them apostolized to you! how often I willed to gather your children together – even in the manner a hen gathers her young under her wings – and you willed not! 38 Behold, your house is forsaken to you, desolate. 39 For I word to you, You never no way see me henceforth, until you say, Eulogized – he who comes in the name of Yah Veh.

The only way for anyone to see God in Jesus (especially the first century Jews) was to honor the message of the apostles. Jesus specifically empowered His own Jewish brethren for His gospel commission. On the day of Pentecost, Peter was first to speak in the name of the Lord and many did see the light that day. Over 3000 joined the reversal of the tower of Babel curse that very morning. 3000 was the second group of Jews to be born again that day.

An old spiritual explanation of the rainbow promise says, “God gave Noah the rainbow sign, no water but the fire next time.” Since God is a consuming fire, then who can endure the day of His coming? Nobody can endure it. Nobody outside of the new covenant of promise lived through the covenant realm transition.

A rainbow is a sign of a covenant God made with humanity to never destroy it again with a flood as He had done in the days of Noah. When we see a rainbow today should we think, “next time fire”? Or should we look higher to see the heavenly realm rainbow as the best possible fulfillment of the promise? Invisible as the second rainbow usually is, it sometimes makes itself known to us after the rain. It represents Jesus’ bodily fulfillment en route to heaven. Jesus fulfilled the 6th day of humanity in order to sabbatize His creation in His white robe of righteousness. Humanity’s tribal colors were united in His 7th day. But not before He came down, became fully human, went into the darkness and reversed all the curses for His people.

Humanity was created on day 6 and Adam just happens to mean red. Adamah means red clay or red dirt. Adam was a son of the red earth or red land. He was covenantally created on day 6. Red is the weakest form of light we can see. In Jewish cosmology the earth is red and the sky is blue like water. Red light is used to see in a dark room while developing photographs because it is so weak it won’t ruin the picture before it gets fixed. Too much light exposure during development will turn the picture black not white. The 7th day is mostly represented by white not black. White is on neither side of red or violet, but is everything in between, in one united body of light. White unites all of creation in the full light of the 7th and never ending day of the Lord of light. The seventh day contains all 6 work days of God’s very good work of creation in His one day of rest.

A pre famous band called ‘Earth’ changed their name to ‘Black Sabbath’ just to be unique. Someone else was also using the name Earth for their band. Ironically, the first century band of ‘sabbath keepers’ known as Pharisees, chose the original name from the red earth over the new name from the blue heaven. Because they didn’t believe in Jesus’ name, they chose to stay in Adam’s name, annulled as it was becoming. Those who stayed in the typical land experienced a black sabbath of their own making. Imagine taking cover behind the typical walls of Jerusalem praying to Yahweh in Adam’s name as the Romans arrived to take you out. The unbelievers suffered a typical 7th day nullification of their less than human creation. The ones who loved darkness more than light tried to keep God’s name in vain rather than take the new name of Christ into His never ending sabbath day. They did not honor the One or the ones God sent in His image. They murdered Jesus and the ones Jesus apostolized to them, starting with Stephen. Their new marriage annulment failed. They were unable to stop the new covenant.

In Jesus’ day we find God’s people pictured in white robes for their never ending marriage to God. Jesus’ day is pictured as a day of never-ending light, which is in reality a mixture of all God’s colors in His all inclusive and never ending sabbatism. White light is most revelatory. Judgement was a day of darkness for some and a day of light for others. Those who wanted to stay in the dark and change the revelation to a new covenant annulment rather than an old covenant annulment lost their salvation.

The all inclusiveness of the new covenant creation refers to all the tribes and nationalities together in the one united body of humanity. God had 6 creation days not seven. Those who rejected God’s first century illumination over all creation remained in the old covenant darkness even as they kept the red blood of the martyrs flowing into the land of their de-creation. They got stuck in the dark place of their transition. At the most major cross road in His story, they chose to remain on their own dark pathway toward death and destruction. To reflect none of God’s light is to remain in the dark. To reflect all of God’s light is to be covered in white. Jesus came to both separate and unite His people. Heavenly Jerusalem is the never ending colorful city of white light. Old Jerusalem went dark because all of God’s chosen people left her. His imagers (by way of Holy Spirit indwelling) moved with Him into the new covenant realm of light.

Old covenant seed time and harvest ended in AD70. The rainbow is an old covenant sign that pointed to a yet-to-be new covenant fulfillment: both heavenly and chiastically. The dark days between the two covenants turned into a reversal of the old covenant curses, in the Lord of the sabbath. Jesus finally sabbatized His people in AD70. The threat of mortality was taken away from God’s people altogether. Humanity was not destroyed again as in the days of Noah. Humanity in Christ became immortal. It wasn’t God’s covenant people who were destroyed in AD70. God moved His humanity into the new covenant where nobody dies. In the end, those who remained in the land were acting like the most inhumane people ever. The widow in denial developed a Holy Spirit vacancy. The evil spirits saw the supernatural void and readily moved in. The unbelievers took God’s name in vain for the legal end of them. They did not take His name into the new covenant where it is not in vain. In vain the old covenant hold-outs labored to keep the name of Abraham or Moses or Adam, rather than be united in the Name of Jesus. Their prayers became futile.

1 Corinthians 15:58

YLT 58 so that, my brethren beloved, become ye stedfast, unmovable, abounding in the work of the Lord at all times, knowing that your labour is not vain in the Lord.

The fulfillment of the rainbow promise was kept by actually saving the world before the Roman armies came into the defunct land filled with vanity. The Romans came in like a flood in AD70. Humanity had left the land prior to the destruction by fire that came upon the humanity fakers. The full light of day arrived for believers only. The old covenant hold-outs died in their dark deeds. God did not destroy His entitled land to purify it again as in the days of Noah. He rescued and placed all His people in the newly titled ‘land’ of His Son to rescue and purify them. None were lost. Those destroyed in the land of Jerusalem were only the inhumane people. God kept His rainbow covenant and did not destroy His chosen people. He destroyed those who were specifically not His people in His face. Old covenant festivals associated with seedtime and harvest ended with nothing but inhumanity ruling in the typical land. Old covenant flag waiving was not only in vain, it was a false claim to their own goodness wrapped in the flesh-mode covenant of animal clothing. Apparently the Hebrews were supposed to camp out around their tribal flags when they were en route in the old covenant. The new covenant soul brought salvation to those tribal old covenant mortals.

Numbers 2:2

JuliaSmith 2 A man by his flag with the ensign according to the house of their fathers, shall the sons of Israel encamp: from over against the tent of appointment round about shall they encamp.

If Noah’s flood was local and didn’t cover the whole planet with water, then the rainbow promise was not made with every nation on the planet. Like the new covenant, Noah’s covenant renewal was made with God’s people and the animals living with them in His country. The diaspora was where most of God’s people were living during the final covenant renewal. But the transition of covenants emanated out from the typical land. The AD70 old covenant judgement came on the dead and dying realm of types, as limited and tribal as it had become.

The fires in Jerusalem didn’t destroy any of God’s chosen ones. However, the indiscriminent flood of Noah’s day killed all but 8 of God’s people in the land, whether they were elect or not. Jesus went and preached to the typical hold-outs of Noah’s day before fulfilling the types of Noah’s flood with the second death of destruction. He kept His rainbow promise to all His chosen people before anyone actually perished in AD70. He gave His elect people His white robe of righteousness. He became the good conscience of the new creation. The so called “woke” of our day can never be as bad as the old covenant hold-outs were in their generation. The old covenant hold outs were the most hypocritical “woke” people ever.

Jesus personally went and preached to Paul too. Paul was an old covenant stubborn one who wouldn’t believe the gospel and get on board. He sided with the inhumanity of the violent murderers. He was in the old covenant body of the ones about to perish. The AD70 fire in the land was a sign of the spirit realm judgement on the unbelievers. It was not indiscriminate like Noah’s flood judgement was. Jesus came to divide the Jews so that none of God’s chosen people perished in the AD70 judgement. Even those who had physically perished in Noah’s flood were still on hold in Hades. They had not perished forever yet. God kept His covenant of promise to all His chosen people before ending the typical old covenant system. He even retroactively kept His promises for any chosen people who had physically perished in Noah’s flood.

Genesis 8:21-22

CLV 21 And smelling is Yahweh Elohim a restful smell. And saying is Yahweh Elohim to His heart, “Not any more will I slight further the ground for the sake of humanity, for the form of the human heart is evil from its youth. Neither again will I smite further all living flesh, as I have done. 22 In the future, all the days of the earth [land], seedtime and harvest, and cold and warmth, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

The covenant land was not destroyed in AD70. The covenant left the typical land before the destruction took place. The widow was covenantally set free to remarry another husbandman. The remarriage came before AD70 destroyed the widow who remained stubbornly in denial. She was uncovenanted on the cross. Nobody could stay married to God through Adam after Jesus put Adam to death on the cross.

Genesis 9:9-17

CLV 9 And I, behold Me setting up My covenant with you and with your seed after you. 10 and with every living soul which is with you, with flyer and with beast and with all land life with you, with all faring forth from the ark, for all the land life. 11 And I set up My covenant with you, that not cut off shall all flesh be in the future by the waters of a deluge, neither will there come a future deluge of water to wreck the entire earth [land]. 12 And saying is Yahweh Elohim to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant which I am giving between Me and you and every living soul which is with you for generations eonian. 13 My bow I bestow in a cloud, and it comes to be for a sign of the covenant between Me and the earth [land]. 14 And it comes, when I cloud over the earth [land] with a cloud, then appears My bow in the cloud, 15 and I am reminded of My covenant, which is between Me and you and every living soul in all flesh, and there is not to come a future deluge of water to wreck all flesh. 16 And my bow comes in the cloud, and I see it, to be reminded of the covenant eonian between the Elohim and every living soul in all flesh which is on the earth [land]. 17 And saying is the Elohim to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant which I set up between Me and all flesh which is on the earth [land].

In the letters to the churches, as recorded in Revelation 2:9 and 3:9, references are made to the synagogue of Satan, referring to the unbelievers based in Jerusalem who were persecuting God’s true covenant people. They “who say they are Jews and are not”, because they are not remaining in the Jewish covenant. The author of this Jewish revelation was Jewish Jesus Himself. True Jews were moved by their God into the permanent renewal of the Jewish Messiah. Untrue Jews were moved by their god to resist. There are no old covenant anti Christ Jews moved by Satan to resist their God given transition anymore. The transition of covenants is over. Get over it.

The taming of non human souls by the Hebrews reached a high point prior to their first century gospel explosion. The new covenant ‘ark’ became the good news for all of God’s creation. The good news is that God sent His Son to save the world of humanity from perishing and the Gentiles were also invited. The good news was that the old covenant world of unbelief was about to perish. The good news is that all nations got on board by way of the diaspora. The orderly arrangement of the new covenant started with the complete image of God as the firstborn human. He came to telos His human creation in Himself.

The Red blood of the martyrs was still crying out during the old covenant transition period. But the martyrs were being sent to wait in heaven this time, not to Hades or back to the typical land they came from like Able. The old covenant hold outs had hoped to kill the body of believers. Instead, their blood soaked souls were being sent straight to heaven; clean and dressed in white. They were crying out from under the alter in heaven, not from under the earth. They were not among the Jewish souls in danger of destruction. Gehenna was where God would destroy the Jewish soul. Jewish souls crying out from heaven were in no danger of the second death. It was the Jewish hold outs who were about to join the diaspora already in progress. The hold-outs either perished in Gehenna or were returned to the land they were taken from and eventually perished from there. Those who had tried to destroy the new covenant body and soul were judged to mortality at the end of their old covenant time of forgiveness. Animal sacrifices ceased.

The martyrs were now embodied in their new covenant birth place, which is heaven. They didn’t stay in their flesh and blood body nor did they go to Hades to wait. They were bodily waiting out their covenant transition from the heavenly realm of existence. The old has since perished in the unbelief of Adam or been renewed in Jesus’ belief. The new has fully arrived and become immortal. The new covenant can’t die because it is the immortal body of humanity, which is the body of Christ.

The double rainbow is a glimpse into heaven, if you can see it. It is a reminder of the grace upon grace that is part of God’s immanent character. The old covenant promises became the new covenant realities in the heavenly realm. Eschatos Adam took the place of the red man on the cross, He was resurrected into the new covenant with the same sacrificial body of flesh and blood. He ascended with His final sacrifice to the real alter in heaven. The martyrs would remain under the alter until the whole old covenant body of Christ was brought into the Holy of Holies together, dressed in the white robe of the righteousness of Christ. The second rainbow leads our eyes up to these heavenly scenes.

The reversal of the fall is evident in the actions of the Messiah and in the reverse order of the new covenant creation. As thee eschatos Adam, Jesus was driven into the wilderness by the Holy Spirit to be tempted by the devil. He passed the test and returned to the land of humanity to rescue His fallen bride. He Himself would have lived to the age alive and alone. The law released the bride from His side in His obedient death on the cross. He saved humans first by paying the old covenant cost for their disobedience, which was His death in obedience. He also brought the animals into the new creation. Gentiles are represented by animals in Peter’s sheet vision and in James 3:7. Jews had successfully taught people from every nationality to act human. There was a synagogue in every city preaching Moses. But in reverse order, the humans were first to enter the new creation, starting with the One.

The mirroring of the creations was just after the three hours of darkness on the cross. It was then that Jesus died and His suffering was over. He then went and preached His victory in another realm. Those in the spirit realm of Hades were aware of Jesus’ successful mission before the tomb was found empty in the land. The appearance of Jesus after 3 days was not the victory. It was the sign of Jonah. Jesus flesh and blood reappearance proved the victory that had already taken place. He was last seen enveloped by a cloud that removed Him from their view again. A cloud took Him from their earthly realm of vision. He ascended into the heavenly realm of the new covenant. He took all His covenant people there by grace, as portrayed by the rarely seen double rainbow.

A rainbow is a reminder of a covenant promise God made with Noah. Noah’s flood was the typical destruction Peter sighted when he addressed the transition that was still taking place. A double rainbow is a fulfillment picture. It has a dark transition that phases into a reverse ordered and more heavenly rainbow? It pictures a covenant promise fulfilled in a higher realm. It is a picture of God coming down to become a man and then God returning with His humanity in tact. It is a picture of grace upon grace. It is a reminder that the destruction wouldn’t and didn’t end humanity. The Hebrew style chiasm completes the earth bound beginning en route to the promised land in heaven.

Matthew 12:38-42 International Standard Version

The Sign of Jonah

38 Then some of the scribes and Pharisees told Jesus,[a] “Teacher, we want to see a sign from you.” 39 But he replied to them, “An evil and adulterous generation craves a sign. Yet no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah, 40 because just as Jonah was in the stomach of the sea creature for three days and three nights,[b] so the Son of Man will be in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights. 41 The men of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment and condemn the people living today,[c] because they repented at the preaching of Jonah. But look—something greater than Jonah is here! 42 The queen of the south will stand up and condemn the people living today,[d] because she came from so far away[e] to hear the wisdom of Solomon. But look! Something greater than Solomon is here!”

Genesis 9:12-17

LITV 12 And God said, This is the sign of the covenant which I am about to make between Me and you, and every living soul which is with you, for everlasting generations: 13 I have set My bow in the cloud, and it shall be a sign of a covenant between Me and the earth. 14 And it will be when I gather the clouds on the earth, then the bow shall be seen in the clouds. 15 And I will remember My covenant which is between Me and you, and every living soul in all flesh. And the waters shall not again become a flood to destroy all flesh. 16 And the bow shall be in the clouds, and I shall see it, to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living soul, in all flesh on the earth [or in the land]. 17 And God said to Noah, This is the sign of the covenant which I have established between Me and all flesh that is on the earth [this word does not mean Earth. It means soil, land, region, country].

Only those who boarded the spiritual land of the new covenant were saved out of the old before it all ended. The known world had been humanized by the 12 tribes to prepare the nations for the all inclusive transition of covenants. None of God’s covenant people were destroyed, as promised. He hung His bows in the sky pointing up through the reversal that was in Christ. The band of darkness between the covenants chaistically gave way to the full light of day. Jesus telosed Adam’s day with His immortality.

According to Wikipedia the term chiastic derives from the mid-17th century term chiasmus, which refers to a crosswise arrangement of concepts or words that are repeated in reverse order.

According to gotquestions.org, A chiasm (also called a chiasmus) is a literary device in which a sequence of ideas is presented and then repeated in reverse order. The result is a “mirror” effect as the ideas are “reflected” back in a reversal. Each idea is connected to its “reflection” by a repeated word, often in a related form. The term chiasm comes from the Greek letter chi, which looks like our letter X. Chiastic pattern is also called “ring structure.” A chiastic ring structure is one in which the two halves mirror each other in reverse order—in essence coming full circle.

Genesis 17:10-11

YLT 10 this is My covenant which ye keep between Me and you, and thy seed after thee: Every male of you is to be circumcised; 11 and ye have circumcised the flesh of your foreskin, and it hath become a token of a covenant between Me and you.

Removal of the flesh was the covenant they were to keep.

Just as the second rainbow pictures a higher covenant not in the flesh, so did circumcision. The old covenant marriage to Yahweh by circumcision on the 8th day was for males only. But it is not good for man to be alone in his relationship with Yahweh. Eve came into relationship with God through her husbandman Adam. Her covenant life came from Adam’s side. Circumcision, as a sign of entering covenant with God on the 8th day, was a flesh-ring removal. The consummation of an old covenant Jewish marriage between a man and a woman in the flesh was a flesh consummation between the circumcised man and the woman.

An old covenant Jewish marriage was also a spiritual union of types in that the woman joined the covenant relationship that her husband already had with God through circumcision; no longer in the flesh. This concept of ‘no longer in the flesh’ is the reason the new covenant saved those in the old covenant. The new covenant betrothal was by the Holy Spirit, inherited from the One who took Adam’s place between the covenants. He sacrificed His whole body of flesh in fulfillment of the typical 8th day covenant no longer in the flesh.

The first veil was opened top to bottom by God due to the only begotten on the cross. It was also a reversal of types. The only begotten by the Holy Spirit in the old covenant was begotten again into the new covenant transition phase. He entered the second veil of the Most Holy place in heaven after His ascension from earthly body to heavenly body.

The veil of the temple on earth was red, blue, purple and white. The earth that Adam came from was seen as red. The heaven Christ came from was seen as blue. Joining the two made the royal color purple. In the old covenant they were joined in the lower realm. Jesus took up where the old covenant left off. He is now the King in the heavenly realm. The king reigns the land in heaven’s blessings.

White clouds in the sky separated the already divine creations in heaven from the view of the mortal creations on earth. The heavenly light is blinding to us on a cloudless day. A white cloud typically came between God and the high priest after he entered through the veil of the temple. A cloudy day protects us from the sun. Entering a cloud is a picture of transitioning between earth and the heavenly realm. Flesh and blood bodies can’t survive the transition through the Van Allen radiation belt.

The beings of heaven lived in everlasting heavenly bodies already, while Humanity on earth was going through their thousand year probation in the flesh. Simultaneously, some fallen angels and their works of creation were about to be judged like the mortals. The works of a fallen angel are seen with the fall of Adam. Corporate fallen angel works are seen in the corruption of humanity in Genesis 6 and the begotten half breeds called demons. Humanity would either perish with the fallen angels or become like the faithful angels, at the end of the age. The cost of entering through the veil from earth to heaven was the death of Jesus’ old covenant body. The veil was torn from heaven downward by God as His Son left the veil of His old covenant flesh on the cross.

Leviticus 16:2-3

CLV 2 Yahweh said to Moses: Speak to Aaron your brother that he must not come at just any time into the holy place, inside the curtain before the propitiatory shelter which is on the coffer so that he may not die, for in the cloud shall I appear over the propitiatory shelter. 3 In this way shall Aaron come into the holy place: with a young bull, the calf of the herd, as a sin offering, and a ram as an ascent offering.

Matthew 27:51

LITV 51 And, behold, the veil of the Holy Place was torn into two from top to bottom. And the earth quaked, and the rocks were sheared!

The outer veil covered the inner veil. The outer veil opened during the very darkest time for Jerusalem. Behind the second veil was the ark of the covenant. The first veil spit from top to bottom meaning it was accomplished from the heavenly realm downward. The Jews could now enter the holy place of betrothal in anticipation of entering the new covenant marriage contained in the inner room. The second veil was not to be removed until after the wedding.

The Holy Spirit entered the temple of the new covenant Jews on Pentecost. They themselves become the holy place. They were being prepared for the most holy place. The Jews didn’t enter the typical holy place in the flesh. They became the holy place on Pentecost. They were made holy by the holy One. At His ascension, Jesus took His sacrificed old covenant body of flesh (that was always holy) to the most holy place. He returned to God’s presence face to face through the second veil. He had yet to take His old covenant sacrifice to the real temple in heaven. In heaven He became the human high priest without genealogy. Jesus on earth was Holy even in the flesh. But He was not the high priest in the flesh. He raised all His people to His new heavenly creation “no longer in the flesh”. All true Jews entered the priesthood of believers regardless of genealogy.

Psalms 82

1 Chanting to Asaph. God stood in the assembly of God; he will judge in the midst of gods. 2 How long will ye judge wickedness, and ye will lift up the faces of the unjust? Silence. 3 Judge ye the poor one, and the orphan: do justice to the humble one and the poor one 4 Deliver the poor and needy one: take away out of the hand of the unjust 5 They will not know, they will not Understand: they will go about in darkness: all the foundations of the earth will be moved. 6 I said, Ye are gods; and the sons of the Most High all of you. 7 But as man shall ye die, and as one of the chiefs shall ye fall. 8 Arise, O God, judge the earth [land]: for then shalt inherit in all nations.

It was in the covenant transition of Christ that God acquired His scattered people from all the nations. Jesus fulfilled Adam’s commission to rule over all creation to the age. Jesus returned to the glory He had without His flesh and blood body as He covenanted the way to join heaven and earth in his heavenly body. His new covenant creation comes down from the higher realm of heaven.

Genesis 8:20-22

CLV 20 And building is Noah an altar to Yahweh Elohim, and taking is he of every clean beast, and of every clean flyer, and is offering up ascent offerings on the altar. 21 And smelling is Yahweh Elohim a restful smell. And saying is Yahweh Elohim to His heart, “Not any more will I slight further the ground for the sake of humanity, for the form of the human heart is evil from its youth. Neither again will I smite further all living flesh, as I have done. 22 In the future, all the days of the earth [this word does not mean Earth. It means soil, land, region, country] seedtime and harvest, and cold and warmth, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

The planet Earth is still here, therefore the days of the planet Earth are not over. But the old covenant land is no longer with us. The old covenant promised land is not actually in the old covenant any more. And why is there no sea in the new covenant picture? Because the Jew and Gentile division was taken away in Christ. The land of the new covenant is one people in Christ. He prepared a place for His people in the heavenly realm. The covenant land of typical Jerusalem is no more. God’s people are blessed in the New Jerusalem, which is the church. The new covenant is in the realm of the New Jerusalem not the old Jerusalem. Old Jerusalem was put to rest for good.

God’s people don’t have to correlate old covenant sacrifices with seed time and harvest anymore. Keeping up with the sacrifices was associated with the blessings of the seasons. The Lord of the sabbath took His people to his never ending blessed day after He sacrificed His old covenant humanity. He completed the 6th day of work in eschatos Adam with His very good human work. In the resurrection of Christ, His humanity joined God in His very good 6th day of work. The telosed humanity was joining God in His 7th day rest from His 6 day work week.

The same Greek word for cease used in Genesis 8:22 (LXX) is the word that is used 3 times in Hebrews chapter 4 and once in Acts 14:18. When Paul healed a man who was lame from birth the crowd got confused. In their old creation behavior they wanted to sacrifice to the apostles as if they were the gods. They didn’t comprehend the gospel. No more sacrifice for sins is an essential component of the good news coming from the Jews. The One true God sent His Son from heaven to become human. Their is only one savior to worship.

Acts 14:8-18

YLT 8 And a certain man in Lystra, impotent in the feet, was sitting, being lame from the womb of his mother—who never had walked, 9 this one was hearing Paul speaking, who, having stedfastly beheld him, and having seen that he hath faith to be saved, 10 said with a loud voice, `Stand up on thy feet upright;’ and he was springing and walking, 11 and the multitudes having seen what Paul did, did lift up their voice, in the speech of Lycaonia, saying, `The gods, having become like men, did come down unto us;’ 12 they were calling also Barnabas Zeus, and Paul Hermes, since he was the leader in speaking. 13 And the priest of the Zeus that is before their city, oxen and garlands unto the porches having brought, with the multitudes did wish to sacrifice, 14 and having heard, the apostles Barnabas and Paul, having rent their garments, did spring into the multitude, crying 15 and saying, `Men, why these things do ye? and we are men like-affected with you, proclaiming good news to you, from these vanities to turn unto the living God, who made the heaven, and the earth, and the sea, and all the things in them; 16 who in the past generations did suffer all the nations to go on in their ways, 17 though, indeed, without witness He did not leave himself, doing good—from heaven giving rains to us, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness;’ 18 and these things saying, scarcely did they restrain [katapauōthe] multitudes from sacrificing to them.

G2664 καταπαύω – Strong’s Greek Lexicon Number

Vine’s Expository Dictionary of New Testament Words

καταπαύω
katapauō
kat-ap-ow’-o
From G2596 and G3973; to settledown, that is, (literally) to colonize, or (figuratively) to (causetodesist

LSJ Gloss: καταπαύωto lay to rest, put an end to

Dodson: καταπαύωI rest, cause to rest

(a) trans: I cause to rest, bring to rest; I cause to refrain, (b) intrans: I rest.

God hung two bows in the sky both pointing towards the heavens. The target human is of course Christ. The wheel of the lineage wasn’t completed in typical Jerusalem. It was burned up in Gahenna. The body was sacrificed and reversed. The completion of the martyrs was first then came the end of the old covenant sacrifice. This is pictured in the covenant God made with Abraham. Animals were cut in half and arranged on the earth so God could walk between them while Abraham was in a deep sleep.

Genesis 15:12

YLT 12 And the sun is about to go in, and deep sleep hath fallen upon Abram, and lo, a terror of great darkness is falling upon him;

Genesis 15:9-11

YLT 9 And He saith unto him, `Take for Me a heifer of three years, and a she-goat of three years, and a ram of three years, and a turtle-dove, and a young bird;’ 10 and he taketh to him all these, and separateth them in the midst, and putteth each piece over against its fellow, but the bird he hath not divided; 11 and the ravenous birds come down upon the carcases, and Abram causeth them to turn back.

The 12 tribes and the 12 apostles are also pictured as the completion of humanity. The foundation of the never ending city of Jerusalem that Jesus prepared engaged with the 12 tribes in diaspora and the 12 apostles also sent out from the land. The human body has 24 ribs. All 24 ribs were sacrificed for the new bride. Jesus sacrificed His full old covenant body of humanity to release His bride from His side. His bride is the spirit realm Jerusalem today. Flesh sacrifice has ended. There is no old covenant body of flesh to sacrifice.

James 3:6

CLV 6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of injustice. The tongue is constituted among our members that which is spotting the whole body, and setting the wheel of our lineage aflame, and is set aflame by Gehenna.”

James 3:6

ECB 6 And the tongue is a fire – a cosmos of injustice: thus the tongue sits among our members to stain the whole body and inflame the track of genetics; and it is inflamed by Gay Hinnom/the Valley of Burning.

Revelation 6:9-11

CLV 9 And when It opens the fifth seal, I perceived underneath the altar the souls of those who have been slain because of the word of God and because of the testimony which they had.” 10 And they cry with a loud voice, saying, “Till when, O Owner, holy and true, art Thou not judging and avenging our blood on those dwelling on the earth? [this word does not mean Earth. It means soil, land, region, country] 11 And to each of them was given a white robe, and it was declared to them that they should be resting still a little time, till their number should be completed by their fellow slaves also, and their brethren, who are about to be killed even as they were.”

There are 12 foundational colors in the New Jerusalem. It is not a black and white city. Even the breastplate worn by the high priest displayed a colored gemstone for each of the 12 tribes. All the colors of the rainbow worn by the high priest couldn’t keep the people united in the land. Christ as the permanent high priest united His people in His white robe of righteousness. Matthew 27:28 says he was dressed in a scarlet robe right before His crucifixion. After that they strip Him and His own blood covers Him. The Tabernacle described in Numbers was covered over by scarlet and the color representing the tribe of Judah was red. Mark 15:17 and John 19:2 say they dressed Him in a purple robe. The job of the high priest was to unite heaven (blue) and earth (red). Adam came from the red earth and Jesus came from heaven. All of creation in heaven and earth is united in white.

John attempts to describe the indescribable using analogies to precious gems and metals.

Revelation 21:8-20

YLT 8 and to fearful [afraid they would lose it all if they joined new covenant] , and unstedfast, [Jacob said double-souled Jews received nothing good from above but were like foaming waves of the sea] and abominable [unbelievers called Jesus evil], and murderers [they killed Jesus and His followers], and whoremongers [unbelieving Jews got in bed with Rome], and sorcerers [with the help of evil spirits Jesus was killed and the land was purged of believers], and idolaters [they worshipped wealth and status more than God’s new covenant plan], and all the liars [they bore false testimony to indict the believing Jews], their part is in the lake that is burning with fire and brimstone, which is a second death.’ 9 And there came unto me one of the seven messengers, who have the seven vials that are full of the seven last plagues, and he spake with me, saying, `Come, I will shew thee the bride of the Lamb—the wife,’ 10 and he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and did shew to me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, coming down out of the heaven from God, 11 having the glory of God, and her light is like a stone most precious, as a jasper stone clear as crystal12 having also a wall great and high, having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve messengers, and names written thereon, which are those of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel, 13 at the east three gates, at the north three gates, at the south three gates, at the west three gates; 14 and the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. 15 And he who is speaking with me had a golden reed, that he may measure the city, and its gates, and its wall; 16 and the city lieth square, and the length of it is as great as the breadth; and he did measure the city with the reed—furlongs twelve thousand; the length, and the breadth, and the height, of it are equal; 17 and he measured its wall, an hundred forty-four cubits, the measure of a man, that is, of the messenger; 18 and the building of its wall was jasper, and the city is pure gold—like to pure glass; 19 and the foundations of the wall of the city with every precious stone have been adorned; the first foundation jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, emerald; 20 the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprasus; the eleventh, jacinth; the twelfth, amethyst.

The national unity of the 12 tribes reborn is in the righteousness of God. Gentiles joined them in rebirth.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11

YLT 9 have ye not known that the unrighteous the reign of God shall not inherit? Be not led astray; neither whoremongers, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, the reign of God shall inherit. 11 And certain of you were these! but ye were washed, but ye were sanctified, but ye were declared righteous, in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God.

Proverbs 16:15-22

YLT 15 In the light of a king’s face is life, And his good-will is as a cloud of the latter rain. 16 To get wisdom—how much better than gold, And to get understanding to be chosen than silver! 17 A highway of the upright is, `Turn from evil,’ Whoso is preserving his soul is watching his way. 18 Before destruction is pride, And before stumbling—a haughty spirit.’ 19 Better is humility of spirit with the poor, Than to apportion spoil with the proud. 20 The wise in any matter findeth good, And whoso is trusting in Jehovah, O his happiness.21 To the wise in heart is called, `Intelligent,’ And sweetness of lips increaseth learning. 22 A fountain of life is understanding to its possessors, The instruction of fools is folly.

Philippians 2:5-7

CLV 5 For let this disposition be in you, which is in Christ Jesus also, 6 Who, being inherently in the form of God, deems it not pillaging to be equal with God, 7 nevertheless empties Himself, taking the form of a slave, coming to be in the likeness of humanity,

Another clue for multiples of 6 in God’s work of creation, rather than 7: Jesus had 24 ribs in His old covenant human body. He sacrificed them all to release and reform His old covenant bride. The new Jerusalem is pictured with the 12 apostles and 12 tribes forming the walls and gates of the new covenant bride. Our ribs are vital. They protect the organs and support breathing. People are born with 12 on each side of the body. Men and women have the same number of ribs. The seventh day represents a united rest from 6 days of works. The end of the sixth day was when God’s creation was declared very good. The seventh day unified all of creation in God’s never ending light: the body of Christ. The Lord of the sabbath united His chosen ones in His resurrected body.

2 Corinthians 5:15-21

CLV 15 And He died for the sake of all that those who are living should by no means still be living to themselves, but to the One dying and being roused for their sakes.” 16 So that we, from now on, are acquainted with no one according to flesh. Yet even if we have known Christ according to flesh, nevertheless now we know Him so no longer.” 17 So that, if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: the primitive passed by. Lo! there has come new!” 18 Yet all is of God, Who conciliates us to Himself through Christ, and is giving us the dispensation of the conciliation, 19 how that God was in Christ, conciliating the world to Himself, not reckoning their offenses to them, and placing in us the word of the conciliation.” 20 For Christ, then, are we ambassadors, as of God entreating through us. We are beseeching for Christ’s sake, “Be conciliated to God!” 21 For the One not knowing sin, He makes to be a sin offering for our sakes that we may be becoming God’s righteousness in Him.”

Israel and Us Reconciled in One Body

Seeking Biblical Truth or Political Correctness?

A while back I called up the main rabbi at Temple Israel, over on Hennepin Avenue (Stephen Pinsky at the time) and invited him to lunch. We went to Rudolph’s (not Pizza Hut) and had a very frank, and sometimes tense, talk about Jews and Christians.

The conclusion of that talk was that the rabbi solved the problem of Jews and Christians like this: God has two plans to bless people. One is the Jewish covenant; and the other is the Christian covenant. Jews do not have to be Christians and Christians do not have to be Jews in order to be blessed. Both can get to God their own way: with Jesus (for Christians) or without Jesus (for Jews).

This is a common idea today among those in Jewish-Christian dialogue. And this idea will win the day wherever people place the new authority of politically correct speech above the old authority of the Bible. The new authority today says that if an idea can be made to sound tolerant or respectful of differences or pluralistic or compassionate, then that idea is good to endorse. Notice, I don’t say, “That idea is true,” because “truth” is emphatically not a politically correct concept. The claim to truth is arrogant and intolerant and disrespectful of differences and undemocratic and uncompassionate. The concept of truth is ruled out by the new authority precisely because it makes people feel put down who don’t agree. And the first and great commandment of the new authority is “Thou shalt not make anyone feel put down.”

It doesn’t matter what your intentions are and what your words mean. All that matters is that someone claims to feel put down when you speak a truth that they don’t share. So in the new authority of our day the victim is always right. Because they know infallibly whether they feel put down or not. And there is no defense against this authority because all your protests about your true intention or the loving value of truth are vetoed by the new absolute, namely, of how people feel about what you say.

And so if you say, for example, that there are not two covenants between man and God: one for Jews and one for Christians, but there is only one covenant and one way to be reconciled to God, then your claim to truth will be vetoed by the new authority as intolerant, disrespectful, undemocratic, unpluralistic, offensive, anti-Semitic, and dangerous. The issue of truth will not even be raised. The issue is: how will it make people feel? And, how arrogant will it make you look?

So you will have to choose this morning whether you will submit to the new authority (of so-called political correctness) that increasingly rules our society, or whether you will submit to biblical authority. I say biblical authority not my authority, and so let’s look at the text more closely so that you can see for yourselves how Jew and Gentile relate to each other, and to God, and to the body of Christ.

A New People of God United by Jesus

Start with Ephesians 2:12 which describes what our condition was as Gentiles before Jesus the Messiah came. “Remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.” That’s where we start. Then Jesus comes, and all that changes. Look at verse 19, “So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God’s household.”

The same summary statement is given in Ephesians 3:6 where Paul defines the mystery of Christ that he preaches: “to be specific, [the mystery of Christ is] that the Gentiles are fellow-heirs [with the Jews] and fellow-members of the body, and fellow-partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.”

What happened? Once we were separated from Christ, now Christ himself has drawn near to us. Once we were excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, now we are fellow citizens in Israel. Once we were strangers to the covenants of promise, now we are fellow partakers of the promise. Once we were without hope, now we are fellow heirs of all God has to give. Once we were without God in the world, now we are members of God’s household.

And the whole picture here is not that we move into these blessings on separate, parallel tracks apart from Israel—them, without Jesus, and us, with Jesus—but that we move into them together on one track—through one Savior, one cross, one body, one new man, one Spirit to one Father. The picture here is that the true Israel becomes the church of Christ and the church of Christ emerges as the true Israel. And what unites this new people is Jesus. They are the people of Jesus. Not Jew and Greek, not slave and free, not male and female, not barbarian, Scythian, free, but Christ is all and in all (cf. Galatians 3:28; Colossians 3:11).

Christ Made Jew and Gentile One in the Church

Now let’s be more precise and notice the actual words that prove this oneness of Jew and Gentile in the new people of God.

Verse 14: “He is our peace, who made both groups [Jews and Gentiles] into one.” Christ did not come to open a second alternative way to God. He came to make Jew and Gentile one in his church.

Verse 15b: ” . . . that in himself he might make the two [Jew and Gentile] into one new man, thus establishing peace.” Here he pictures the church as a single person. Once there were Jewish persons and Gentile persons. Now Christ comes and unites them to himself so that “in himself” there would be only one new person, namely, Christ: There is neither Jew nor Gentile, but Christ is all and in all (Colossians 3:11). Christ is the one new man. Which leads us naturally to verse 16 where Jew and Gentile are the one body of the one new man.

One last case for 6 colors in the rainbow rather than 7: Even in the musical scale, the distinctions in sound seem to sound best in multiples of 6 rather than 4 or 5 or 7. The so called chromatic scale is the musical range charting twelve pitches that are a half step apart. A diatonic scale is a less natural seven-note musical scale with 5 whole steps and 2 half steps; that is 6 tones and one semitone. In order to divide the rainbow into 7 colors rather than 6, Indigo is the one ‘semitone’ thrown into the mix. Seven represents rest from creation. Nothing new was created or made distinct on the 7th day. The work of creation itself was divided into 6 parts.

Everything God made was blessed by God, before the 7th day. God capped off His blessings with a very good work of creation and a final blessing on the 6th day. The 7th day unites God’s creation into His never ending day of rest and promise fulfilled. The 7th day is not one of the 6 days of forming and filling. We praise Him after we are formed and filled. Recreation is accomplished in rest.

The work of creation was supernaturally divided in multiples of 3. There were 3 days of forming and 3 days of filling. The 7th day unites us and rests us in His finished work. God did not create another realm on the seventh day nor did He create another distinction in souls. Jesus entered humanity’s sixth day to complete their work so humanity could find rest. When Jesus said. “I go to prepare a place for you”, it was in leu of leaving His people in their not so good place of humanity. In Jesus, humanity escaped hades and breeched heaven on the 6th day. The place Jesus made for humanity in heaven was for the purpose of granting sabbath rest to His people via His very good 6th day work. We don’t count sabbath rest as part of our earthly work. We supernaturally rest on the 7th day with God, because Jesus made His humanity very good, then He moved it into a new creation to bring His people into His very good work.

Base 12 is the most versatile numbering system. The binary numbering system is among the least usable for us. Even base 60 (as a multiplied base 12) is more simple than the binary numbering system and more versatile than the decimal numbering system. For one practical example, 10 is only divisible by 1,2, 5 and 10 itself, 12 is divisible by 1,2,3,4,6 and 12 itself. Try giving me a third of a dollar in the decimal system. My Dad assumed that the decimal system was easier but we would not change unless forced to. Kinda like being forced to learn a foreign language by being dropped into the foreign country. After the French Revolution, the government tried to force the French people to move out of the familiar and time tested Babylonian mathematics. The measuring of feet, minutes, hours, degrees, astrological ages, months and work days were all based in 12. The French were forced out of the 12-based system and into the 10-based system. It took 12 years before the French government finally gave up and faced the drawbacks of the decimal system. Napoleon himself discarded decimal as the new universal system to live by.

In their efforts, the French invented a calendar that counted not seven, but ten-day weeks. The month was divided into three decades rather than four weeks. They even decimalized the days! The day was legally cut from twelve hours to ten. Each hour was one hundred minutes long. Each minute each was one hundred seconds. Each day was 100,000 seconds long. They eventually returned to the Babylonians’, 24 hours per day, 60-minutes per Hour, 60 seconds per minute, 86,400 seconds in a day and 360 degrees in a circle. At least the French tried. For 12 new years with 432 newly defined decades, the citizens were required to work for nine days every week rather than six! They experimented with their quirky decimalized calendar for 12 years after the French Revolution, after which Its drawbacks could no longer be ignored and the decimal system was mostly discarded for good.

The original Roman calendar consisted of ten months (maybe because we have ten fingers), but their calendar year only lasted 304 days, with the 61 days during winter not counted as two more months. After creating 6 distinct days, God stopped. The seventh day was not a creation day. Jesus’ 6th day work rescued His people out of their darkening 6th day before it was too late. The never ending day is not an old covenant creation day. It is a rest day from the 6 works days. It is not counted as a work day. Its not even typically counted in Genesis chapter one. The counting of the evening and morning into the next day applies to the six days of creation only. It introduces the counting off of the work days only. The seventh day is not counted like the other six. The very good work of the six days produced the never ending light of God’s sabbath day. The never ending day is the consummation of the very good work after the 6th day. The transition of the covenants was the sabbatism as accomplished by Christ along with His people. The Hebrews were told to work diligently to enter the sabbath rather than fall like their forbears in unbelief. Jesus rescued the Hebrews from their failing works mode that otherwise ended in darkness at the end of the 6th day. He supernaturally endowed them to join in on His very good 6th day of work before the final sabbatism, into the full light of the day.

Hebrews 4:8-11

YLT 8 for if Joshua had given them rest, He would not concerning another day have spoken after these things; 9 there doth remain, then, a sabbatic rest to the people of God, 10 for he who did enter into his rest, he also rested from his works, as God from His own. 11 May we be diligent, then, to enter into that rest, that no one in the same example of the unbelief may fall,

Jesus is a better imager. Jesus rules the nations as the perfect Son who reigns in the image of God. The watchers were the sons of God ruling the nations in their error-prone imaging of their Father. We now rule all of creation with Jesus on the throne of humanity. We pray in His more excellent name now rather then in the name of that nation’s angels or watchers. Jesus rules God’s people from all nations.

Hebrews 1:1-4

CLV 1 By many portions and many modes, of old, God, speaking to the fathers in the prophets, 2 in the last of these days speaks to us in a Son, Whom He appoints enjoyer of the allotment of all, through Whom He also makes the eons;” 3 Who, being the Effulgence of His glory and Emblem of His assumption, besides carrying on all by His powerful declaration, making a cleansing of sins, is seated at the right hand of the Majesty in the heights;” 4 becoming so much better than the messengers as He enjoys the allotment of a more excellent name than they.

1 Corinthians 6:3

ECB 3 Know you not that we are to judge angels? How much more those of this existence?

The new covenant came down from heaven and was unearthed from Jerusalem. Redemption arrived in Hebrew style poetry.

Sexagesimal

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sexagesimal, also known as base 60 or sexagenary, is a numeral system with sixty as its base. It originated with the ancient Sumerians in the 3rd millennium BC, was passed down to the ancient Babylonians, and is still used—in a modified form—for measuring timeangles, and geographic coordinates.

The number 60, a superior highly composite number, has twelve factors, namely 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 12, 15, 20, 30, and 60, of which 2, 3, and 5 are prime numbers. With so many factors, many fractions involving sexagesimal numbers are simplified. For example, one hour can be divided evenly into sections of 30 minutes, 20 minutes, 15 minutes, 12 minutes, 10 minutes, 6 minutes, 5 minutes, 4 minutes, 3 minutes, 2 minutes, and 1 minute. 60 is the smallest number that is divisible by every number from 1 to 6; that is, it is the lowest common multiple of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6.

One last “coincidence” from the nature of mothers. Wearing pearls has been claimed as a part of feminine grace and adornment for ages. The mother of the pearl can reflect all of the colors individually, as shown below by the broken abalone shells. The pearl itself is made of the same substance as the oyster shell, yet it usually unites all the possible colors of the mother into one organic/nonorganic pure white gem. Jesus was an irritating enemy to the typical mother of humanity. He invited and united the reborn people of Jerusalem with His 12 white gems from the sea. The old covenant widow in denial became known as the mother of all harlots before her inglorious end.

That is quite a contrast between the new and the old Jerusalem. The new Jerusalem is today the faithful mother of all the living. She is wearing a 12-pearl necklace. The people of God were saved from destruction by entering her white gates and are spiritually wearing white robes of righteousness. Jesus’ and Reuben’s tribal colors were both red (The 12 colors are debatable. Sometimes Reuben and Judah are thought to be red and sometimes blue).

Reuben was the firstborn of the first wife of Jacob. Reuben was as unstable as the white foam of the seas. He, like the king, of Tyre tried to usurp his father’s place and so lost his place. Jacob (James 1:1) addresses the 12 tribes in diaspora and tells them not to be unstable as the foam of the seas. The old covenant firstborn was being replaced. Just as Judah was the first tribe to take its place in the old land of Israel, Jesus from the tribe of Judah was the first to take His place in the new Jerusalem. He is now the new covenant firstborn. The inheritance in the New Jerusalem was allotted to the Jews first.

Jesus was covered in red old covenant marriage blood on the day he was born of a faithful virgin from the tribe of Judah. His birth blood was proof of his mother’s faithfulness in spite of her supernatural pregnancy before she was married. Jesus was also covered in blood when he died. His death blood was proof of Jerusalem’s unfaithfulness in their marriage to Yahweh and their need for redemption. By faith in His Father, Jesus died in Rueben’s place of unfaithfulness to his earthly father Jacob.
