Tamed And Untamed Animals
Mark 1:13 ECB and there he is, in the wilderness forty days, tested of Satan; and is with the wild beasts; and the angels minister to him.
Was it really animals that Adam was suppose to tame as the original great commission? Did Adam really consider every animal for a wife? Did a talking reptile tempt Eve?
Daniel really was thrown into a den of lions. God lets or causes the wild beasts tear up His disobedient people. Daniel disobeyed the king of Persia in order to remain faithful to God. Like Pilot, Darius was pressured by the mob to convict a faithful Jew to death. Daniel portrays the 4 Gentile kings or kingdoms as 4 wild beasts. The Babylonians conquered the unfaithful Jews like a lion. Lions were tame to this faithful Jew named Daniel. Jesus was not eaten by the wild beasts in the wilderness. He was the most faithful Jew.
Daniel 7:5
KJV 5 And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh. [the complete human body has 24 ribs] 3 ribs return to the land in the teeth of Darius on his side. The same Greek word for side in the LXX version of Genesis 2:21 is used in John 19:34 for Jesus’ side and in Acts 12:7 for Peters side. Peter is told 3 times to rise up and eat all the animals.
Animals in the book of Daniel represent people or people groups and every one of the twelve tribes is represented by an animal. Yeshua is called a lamb and a lion. He is a tame lamb to His faithful people. God brings lions to tear up His enemies. God brought a lamb to save His chosen people. The original tempter was called a serpent. In the book of Jonah, the cattle repented in sackcloth and ashes. Adam named all the animals, while looking for a suitable wife, who was later deceived by the talking reptile. The people who went to my high school were called ‘The Fighting Cardinals’. Do you believe I went to school with birds? Are we as Americans the first people on earth who ever represented our people groups with animals? Was Adam’s ultimate purpose to bring God glory by taming the actual animals? Is it possible that animals represent people groups in Genesis chapter one too. Is it even conceivable that Adam was supposed to humanize the nations. Have you studied the rules for interpreting ancient Hebrew literature? Maybe we should stop imposing our own traditions on the Word of God.
Jacob (James) 3:7 For every nature of wild beasts, reptiles, birds and from the sea is being tamed and has been tamed to the nature of the human.
Even animal sacrifices represented humans. A typical lamb was killed in the place of the firstborn until the human it represented arrived. Jesus is the real Lamb of God.
Jeremiah 31:22
LITV 22 Until when will you turn to and fro, O faithless daughter? For Jehovah has created a new thing in the land: a woman shall enclose a man. 23 So says Jehovah of Hosts, the God of Israel: Again they will speak this word in the land of Judah, and in its cities, when I turn again their captivity, saying, Jehovah bless you, O home of righteousness, O holy mountain!
Jeremiah 31:27

Jeremiah 31:22-23

Daniel 7:2-7
Thomson 2 I Daniel beheld, and lo! the four winds of heaven blew violently on the great sea; 3 and four great beasts came up out of the sea, different one from the other. 4 The first was like a lioness, and had wings like those of an eagle. I beheld till her wings were plucked off; and she was raised from the earth and stood on the feet of a man and a man’s heart was given her (see Daniel 4:15-17) 5 And behold the second beast was like a bear; and it stood half erect and there were three ribs in its mouth between its teeth, and they said to it thus, “Arise, devour much flesh.” 6 After this I looked, and lo! another beast like a leopard; and it had four wings of a bird on it; and this beast had four heads and to it dominion was given. 7 After this I beheld, and lo! a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, exceedingly strong and its teeth of iron! It devoured and brake in pieces! and the residue it trampled with its feet. Now this was far different from all the beasts which were before it and it had ten horns.
The bear did not devour the last 3 tribes. The fourth beast did: the dragon with iron teeth. The dragon that tempted the woman to bring the knowledge of good and evil into her body, tried to devour her offspring who was prophesied to crush the dragon. The dragon was released to devour the unbelievers still in the old covenant after the millennial jubilee was fulfilled. Satan was the ruler of the Roman kingdom. Rome is pictured as a dragon. Jesus made a safe plantation before Satan was released.
Revelation 12:4
LITV 4 and his tail drew the third part of the stars of the heaven, and he throws them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman being about to bear, so that when she bears he might devour her child.
