Hebrews 5:7-10
LITV 7 who in the days of His flesh was offering both petitions and entreaties to Him being able to save Him from death, with strong crying and tears, and being heard from His godly fear; 8 though being a Son, He learned obedience from what He suffered 9 and being perfected, He became the Author of eternal salvation to all the ones obeying Him, 10 having been called out by God as a High Priest according to the order of Melchizedek.
Jesus was not primarily the judge when He was in the flesh. He sacrificed His flesh mode to save his people from God’s wrath. In heaven, Jesus became the new covenant high priest without genealogy. From the right hand of God He continued to intervene for His people until He made His enemies His footstool. His enemies were of course those who opposed Him. They were the antichrist unbelievers.
He is not reigning in His old covenant humanity of genealogical records today. Jesus was called out of His old covenant body by His Father. The only begotten is now the firstborn of the heavenly body of humanity. He was thee eschatos Adam in the days of His flesh. The old covenant was the mortal flesh and blood humanity that was about to fail to live to the age. That body died to the age over 2000 years ago. That old covenant humanity will never be resurrected in the flesh again. The decree to resurrect the old covenant in the flesh came from Cyrus. The decree to put it to death again reluctantly came from Titus. Those who were resurrected from the old covenant death by way of the Holy Spirit Jesus sent to His people will never die. They have already lived to the age of permanence. Israel in the flesh failed in that mission. Only born again Israel arrived to the age alive.
John 12:43-50
YLT 43 for they loved the glory of men [the old covenant humanity they sought approval from] more than the glory of God [they were promised greater glory in God’s new covenant humanity]. 44 And Jesus cried and said, `He who is believing in me, doth not believe in me, but in Him who sent me; 45 and he who is beholding me, doth behold Him who sent me; 46 I a light to the world have come, that every one who is believing in me—in the darkness may not remain; 47 and if any one may hear my sayings, and not believe, I—I do not judge him, for I came not that I might judge the world, but that I might save the world. 48 `He who is rejecting me, and not receiving my sayings, hath one who is judging him, the word that I spake, that will judge him in the last day [the last day of the old covenant], 49 because I spake not from myself, but the Father who sent me, He did give me a command, what I may say, and what I may speak, 50 and I have known that His command is life age-during; what, therefore, I speak, according as the Father hath said to me, so I speak.’
God’s command to Adam was for life age-during. The original creation of humanity disobeyed the command and fell into the death of the firstborn. Humanity was being saved by the first born of the new creation humanity. Jesus took the place of the firstborn in the death of His old covenant life. The complete resurrection of that old covenant death graciously preceded the second death of the nation. God’s command to His nation was to follow His Son to the age alive. To remain under the law of the knowledge of good and evil in the flesh was to choose to perish in the permanent death of the old covenant. Only Jesus could take on the law and live to the age in the old covenant. As head of the body Jesus gave His people His clear conscience in their new covenant. To be woke is deadly business any other way. In the flesh everyone comes to realize they will die some day and then they do. By grace, eternal life is not dependent on flesh. Eternal life is a gift that obviously doesn’t save us from the death of the flesh body. The Holy Spirit opens our eyes to see beyond our flesh existence. We come to know the life in the Son that doesn’t die with age.
Genesis 2:17
YLT 17 and of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, thou dost not eat of it, for in the day of thine eating of it—dying thou dost die.’
The only time Jesus is called Son of man by someone other than Himself is by Stephen as heaven opens for the death of another Jew in covenant transition. Stephen was put to death for declaring the covenant transition to his brethren. Jesus already died as thee old covenant eschatos Adam to make the first transition into the new covenant. His resurrection opened the way for His people to follow. The change of covenants was unstoppable. Killing Jesus didn’t stop it but it did send Him to Hades. Stephen did not follow Him there. Hades was not where Stephen went when the unbelievers killed him for his witness. Those who died with the old covenant did not go to Hades anymore either. The old covenant ended in second death. The resurrection of Israel in the flesh after their 70-year wait would lead to second death rather than a third resurrection in the flesh. The first regeneration of Israel in the flesh took 40 years in the wilderness. The second resurrection of the Jews took 70 years in the wilderness and was nominally the tribe of Judah. I wonder why God chose that tribe? It had something to do with saving His people through the promised seed of the woman in the tribe of Judah. Eternal life is not in the old covenant flesh lest any human boast. Old covenant hold outs were boasting the ability to keep the law while rejecting the Holy Spirit.
The new covenant started with the resurrected life of the firstborn. Jesus took the place of the firstborn in his/His death and in His resurrection. He replaced the firstborn who couldn’t keep the law in the flesh. The old covenant ended with the second death of the first-born nation. The eternal life of the new first born was the transition gift Jesus granted via their rebirth. Jesus died in the old covenant to resurrect the first old covenant death. Their second death has no future resurrection. Jesus appeared in His new covenant to over 500 people at one time. I assume His people He appeared to were all in the old covenant. Jesus’ old and new covenant appearances were all to the Jews, with a few noted exceptions: like the Samaritan woman, the government officials in the land and the wise men from the east. His stated mission was to witness to His chosen people who were in their aged and dying covenant. Peter extended the witness to the 12 tribes gathered at pentecost.
AD70 was the second death of the old covenant. Jesus will not die a second death to resurrect the second old covenant death. Second death did not take people to Hades to await their resurrection. Only first death lead to Hades. Second death lead to the annihilation of Hades. Hades doesn’t burn forever in the lake of fire yet never vanish from existence. Hades was a gracious old covenant holding place. The lake of fire is not a gracious holding place. Grace was offered to all God’s people in the formation of second birth. The lake of fire is where the outdated and useless creations go to disappear.
Of what further use is Hades if all God’s people all go to heaven when they leave this earthly realm? Unless you think God’s chosen people are still waiting to get into heaven, via their new covenant birth. The Bible clearly presents the gospel to the Jews in the land and the 12 tribes gathered in Jerusalem. That pentecost placed God’s old covenant people as first and foundational in the realm of their new covenant Jerusalem. The New Jerusalem is still kept incorruptible in heaven but it’s not heaven bound. It reaches down to earth to raise up all God’s people.
The Greek word for human is not Adam. Jesus called Himself “Son of humanity” (Anthropos or mankind) not son of Adam. And Stephen calls Jesus “Son of humanity” even after He is in heaven. But which humanity is Jesus a Son of in heaven? The only begotten Son of God is still Son of the one and only humanity in heaven, if Stephen was right to call Him that. And he was because, Stephen was full of the Holy Spirit as he spoke. New covenant humanity is no longer in the flesh and old covenant humanity was put to second death. The true Son of God and Son of humanity became the fulness of humanity fleshed out in the old covenant. He has returned to the glory He had before humbly taking on the flesh body in the old covenant land. He is now high priest in the order of Melchizedek. He couldn’t be high priest in the flesh. He fulfilled the law and became high priest in the new covenant as promised by God.
Anthropos – Wikipedia
Anthropos (ἄνθρωπος) is Greek for human. Anthropos may also refer to: Anthropos, in Gnosticism, the first human being, also referred to as Adamas (from Hebrew meaning earth) or Geradamas. ′Anthropos′ as a part of an expression in the original Greek New Testament that is translated as Son of man; the human being.
ANTHROPOLOGY, PHILOSOPHICAL (Greek ‘ανθρωπος [anthropos]

ANTHROPOLOGY, PHILOSOPHICAL (Greek ‘ανθρωπος [anthropos]—man, λογος [logos]—discourse, science)—an explanatory interpretation of the human being, man, and his essentially human action.
In 1 Corinthians 15 Jesus is called eschatos Adam and son of humanity and second humanity. He is never called second Adam anywhere in the Bible. The last Adam did not become the first Adam or the second Adam. He took Adam’s place and put the firstborn to death. He died in the place of the old covenant firstborn even though He was not the old covenant firstborn in the flesh. He paid the price. The last Adam was the only mature and complete image of God who could pay the redemption price. Eschatos Adam was lifted up in order to be the firstborn of His resurrected humanity. The old man was not to be resurrected. The resurrected man is called the new man. The One and only One who matured under law to be the true old covenant humanity became the first born in the new covenant, making Him without genealogy post-resurrection. His old covenant genealogy was sacrificed so He could start a new constitution without one.
Acts 7:56
CLV 56 and said, “Lo! I am beholding the heavens opened up, and the Son of Mankind standing at the right hand of God.”
Romans 6:6
CLV 6 knowing this, that our old humanity was crucified together with Him, that the body of Sin may be nullified, for us by no means to be still slaving for Sin,
The phrase, “our old humanity” was the old covenant humanity of Israel. It was mostly in diaspora pervading the nations with God’s image for humanity as taught by Moses. Yet a small part of that same humanity was back in the land attempting their second resurrection in the flesh. Jesus came to save that old humanity of Paul by taking the place of the firstborn of humanity on the cross. Only the Holy Spirit resurrection would succeed. Their second attempt to be resurrected as a nation in the flesh would fail.
Romans 6:21-23
ECB 21 So what fruit had you in those whereof you are now ashamed? For the completion/shalom of those is death. 22 And now, being liberated from sin and being subservient to Elohim, you have your fruit to holiness and the completion/shalom – eternal life. 23 For the wages of the sin is death; but the charisma of Elohim is eternal life in Yah Shua Messiah our Adonay.
Two completions were at hand: those who chose to remain in the old covenant humanity missed the mark and died, those who chose the resurrected new covenant humanity arrived to the age alive.
Romans 6:21-23
YLT 21 what fruit, therefore, were ye having then, in the things of which ye are now ashamed? for the end of those is death. 22 And now, having been freed from the sin, and having become servants to God, ye have your fruit—to sanctification, and the end life age-during; 23 for the wages of the sin is death, and the gift of God is life age-during in Christ Jesus our Lord.
How did believers get into the new humanity? By the same Holy Spirit that resurrected Jesus out of the death of the old covenant humanity.
Romans 8:9
YLT 9 And ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God doth dwell in you; and if any one hath not the Spirit of Christ—this one is not His;
The Son of God lived to the age as high priest without genealogy in His new covenant. It was the only way for God’s people the to live to the age. Jesus descended from the tribe of Judah so in the old covenant He could not take them to the age as the high priest. The death prevented every high priest from living to the age. Because of the death, God prevented Adam from abiding in the garden and living to the age. The word of the promise after the torah, completes/shalams a Son to the age, in the realm of the new covenant, not in the realm of the flesh covenant.
Hebrews 7:22-28
CLV 22 by so much also has Jesus become the sponsor of a better covenant. 23 And these indeed, are more than one, having become priests because [the] death prevents them from abiding;” 24 yet that One, because of His remaining for the eon, has an inviolate priesthood.” 25 Whence, also, He is able to save to the uttermost [every finish] those coming to God through Him, always being alive to be pleading for their sake.” 26 For such a Chief Priest also became us, benign, innocent, undefiled, separated from sinners, and coming to be higher than those of the heavens, 27 Who has no necessity daily, even as the chief priests, to be offering up sacrifices previously for their own sins, thereupon for those of the people, for this He does once for all time, offering up Himself.” 28 For the law is appointing men chief priests who have infirmity, yet the word sworn in the oath which is after the law, appoints the Son, perfected, for the eon.” [the word of the promise after the torah, completes/shalams a Son to the age]
