Exodus 4:22

CLV 22 So you will say to Pharaoh: Thus says Yahweh, My son, My firstborn, is Israel.

Jeremiah 10:11 – The only verse in Jeremiah written in Aramaic

YLT 11 Thus do ye say to them [Aramaic speaking Babylonians], The gods who the heavens and earth have not made, They do perish from the earth, And from under these heavens.

Matthew 27:46 – Spoken and written in Aramaic

CLV 46 Now about the ninth hour Jesus exclaims with a loud voice, saying, “Eloi! Eloi! Lema sabachthani? that is, “My God! My God! Why didst Thou forsake Me?

Matthew 5:18

LITV 18 Truly I say to you, Until the heaven and the earth pass away, in no way shall one iota or one tittle pass away from the law until all comes to pass.

The Jews had priority over the Gentiles in both the old and the new covenants: new covenant blessings came to them first, under the law of Christ, then destruction came to those still under the law of Moses. Jews were both saved out of Babylon and destroyed as Babylon: to the Jew first and also to the nations. Did the Jews remember the law of Moses? Moses told them they wouldn’t live long as a nation in the land under law. At the border of the promised land, God told Moses they would be destroyed for not keeping the law.

Deuteronomy 31:16

CLV 16 Yahweh said to Moses: Behold, you are about to lie with your fathers. Yet this people will rise and prostitute after the elohim of the foreigners of the land where they are entering to be among them; and they will forsake Me and annul My covenant that I contracted with them.

In Romans 2:9-10, Paul says, amazingly, “There will be tribulation and distress for every soul of man [humanity] who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek, but glory and honor and peace to everyone who does good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.”

Neither the Jews nor the nations, who were being pre evangelized by the diaspora, have any other way to be saved: both are saved by faith in Christ. The Jews are most knowledgeable and so they are the first to hear the gospel. They hear it of course from other knowing Jews. The Jews were given the great commission by knowing their Messiah, which they apply exclusively to evangelizing other Jews. Jews turn to the nations with the gospel only after evangelizing each for the first decade of the ongoing resurrection of the Jewish body. The regeneration lasted for a generation = 40 years of bodily resurrection. The same Holy Spirit Who resurrected Yeshua was sent to resurrect other dead Jews too. The Jewish body of Christ was being raised.

In other words, the priority that the Jews had in hearing the gospel, if it is rejected, will result in a priority in judgment too. New covenant Jews spread the gospel to the old covenant Jews while old covenant Jews still existed. The Jews who were grateful for their priority trusted in the soul of their Messiah. They were the first to enter into the new covenant blessings of God. There were definite dangers that came with this corporate privilege. “From everyone who has been given much, much will be required.” Luke 12:48. the Jews received the word of God. They knew better.

The so called “blood libel” (as it is derisively called today) was actually publicly pronounced out loud to Pilate by the old covenant Jews themselves. They didn’t libel themselves. They told the truth. They admitted to the authority in Jerusalem to the crime they were committing. I thought that was called a true witness against one’s self. They libeled Jesus not themselves. All retribution for that crime ended in AD 70. The Jews who bore false testimony and libeled their messiah had till AD70 to correct their witness. They needed a new testament. Nobody is in the old testament under law anymore.

There can never again be a band of old covenant Jewish leaders who conspire and kill an innocent old covenant Jew again. Neither can there ever again be old covenant Jews who come together to kill new covenant Jews like Stephen. Old covenant hold outs paid the price of their false witness (libel) in AD70. It was their second old covenant death (permanent this time). But not before the truth-telling Jews were rescued from their own old covenant death. When people die bearing false witness as unbelievers they are not called martyrs. The first century martyrs were the Jews who believed the truth, not the Jews who died in AD70. Martyrs aren’t usually false witnesses. The Greek word martyr actually means witness. The old covenant Jews who didn’t have faith in the new covenant truth murdered the witnesses to it. There are no old covenant Jews today. There hasn’t been a single old covenant Jew since the old covenant ended. How could there be? God is the covenant creator, not us. The old became obsolete and went away.

So when Paul says in Romans 1:16, “The gospel is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek,” we should remember that the first century Jews did have a priority over the Gentiles. They weren’t put on hold till later. They were in fact prioritized. They had priority both in the life and in the death. The life came to them in Jerusalem on Pentecost and the death came to them in Jerusalem when the old covenant ended for good. Jesus came to divide Jewish believers from Jewish unbelievers. He told the believers to get out before its too late. The unbelieving Jews heard Jesus’ warning but they didn’t believe Him. Jesus’ testimony was true. The testimony of the old covenant hold outs was false. Anybody claiming to be an old covenant Jew today is lying. All God’s people are in the new covenant. So called ‘modern Jews’ have made up new rules to define their new religion. They do not abide by old covenant laws. They can’t. They have invented a ‘new covenant’ of their own accord. God did not give it to them. So called Jews today are neither old nor new covenant Jews. They are a religious spin-off, claiming to teach humanity while denying the One True Human. They cant make sense of the big picture even though they claim solidarity as God’s true witnesses.

1 Peter 4:17

CLV 17 seeing that it is the era for the judgment to begin from the house of God. Now if first from us, what is the consummation of those who are stubborn as to God’s evangel?

Luke 21:25

YLT 25 `And there shall be signs in sun, and moon, and stars, and on the land is distress of nations with perplexity, sea and billow roaring;

2 Peter 3:8-16 – Written by a Jew to the Jews in diaspora. Peter tells the diaspora that some of the first century Jews were twisting the truth unto their own destruction. They were bearing false testimony concerning their new testament.

YLT 8 And this one thing let not be unobserved by you, beloved, that one day with the Lord is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day; 9 the Lord is not slow in regard to the promise, as certain count slowness, but is long-suffering to us, not counseling any to be lost but all to pass on to reformation, 10 and it will come—the day of the Lord—as a thief in the night, in which the heavens with a rushing noise will pass away, and the elements with burning heat be dissolved, and earth and the works in it shall be burnt up. 11 All these, then, being dissolved, what kind of persons doth it behove you to be in holy behaviors and pious acts? 12 waiting for and hasting to the presence of the day of God, by which the heavens, being on fire, shall be dissolved, and the elements with burning heat shall melt; 13 and for new heavens and a new earth according to His promise we do wait, in which righteousness doth dwell; 14 wherefore, beloved, these things waiting for, be diligent, spotless and unblameable, by Him to be found in peace, 15 and the long-suffering of our Lord count ye salvation, according as also our beloved brother Paul—according to the wisdom given to him—did write to you, 16 as also in all the epistles, speaking in them concerning these things, among which things are certain hard to be understood, which the untaught and unstable do wrest, as also the other Writings, unto their own destruction.

John 3:18 – Jesus tells a Jewish teacher how to avoid His end of the age judgement unto destruction.

CLV 18 He who is believing in Him is not being judged; yet he who is not believing has been judged already, for he has not believed in the name of the only-begotten Son of God.”

Jews who heard the roar of the Holy Spirit’s arrival were probably all saved from the roar of the arriving sea of armies. They believed Jesus and got out of Jerusalem prior to destruction. Jesus told His brethren to get out of Jerusalem before the destruction of the old covenant creation arrived. The Jews who were still in the land in AD70 obviously didn’t believe Him. Some people today are waiting for another flesh and blood Jewish resurrection like the one that came after their first 70 years of exile. That resurrected body still had the old typical soul. The new covenant soul was given to the Jews on Pentecost.

Acts 2:1-5

YLT 1 And in the day of the Pentecost being fulfilled, they were all with one accord at the same place, 2 and there came suddenly out of the heaven a sound as of a bearing violent breath, and it filled all the house where they were sitting, 3 and there appeared to them divided tongues, as it were of fire; it sat also upon each one of them, 4 and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, according as the Spirit was giving them to declare. 5 And there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men from every nation of those under the heaven,

Jesus took the curse of Jeremiah 10:11 when He spoke Aramaic to His captors,`Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?’ that is, `My God, my God, why didst Thou forsake me?’ Jesus did not tell His people what to say in Latin when the Romans came to destroy Jerusalem. He took their Babylonian captivity upon Himself. His instructions to His Jewish brethren are recorded in Greek. They were to follow Him and leave the old covenant land they were enslaved to, before their Latin speaking Roman general arrived to end them and take captives. Jesus publicly spoke Aramaic as He took the Jewish exile upon Himself. Their failure to keep the law of Moses landed Him outside the city and then in Hades. Jesus’ resurrection and ascension captured their destiny under law. He then gave unearned gifts to the Jews so they could supernaturally build the new covenant church with Him. They deserved the curses as explained by the law of Moses, instead they were gifted with grace under the law of Christ. The gifted Jews took this same good news to the Gentiles, as a Benjamite explained to the body of Christ in Ephesus.

Ephesians 4:7-13

YLT 7 and to each one of you was given the grace, according to the measure of the gift of Christ, 8 wherefore, he saith, `Having gone up on high he led captive captivity, and gave gifts to men [humanity],’ — 9 and that, he went up, what is it except that he also went down first to the lower parts of the earth [land]? 10 he who went down is the same also who went up far above all the heavens, that He may fill all things— 11 and He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as proclaimers of good news, and some as shepherds and teachers, 12 unto the perfecting of the saints, for a work of ministration, for a building up of the body of the Christ13 till we may all come to the unity of the faith and of the recognition of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to a measure of stature of the fulness of the Christ,

Jacob, to the 12 tribes, concerning the unity of the faith of Christ. The old human soul had to go. Unity is in the new firstborn soul of humanity.

YLT 1 James [Jacob], of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ a servant, to the Twelve Tribes who are in the dispersion: Hail! 2 All joy count it, my brethren, when ye may fall into temptations manifold; 3 knowing that the proof of your faith doth work endurance, 4 and let the endurance have a perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire—in nothing lacking; 5 and if any of you do lack wisdom, let him ask from God, who is giving to all liberally, and not reproaching, and it shall be given to him; 6 and let him ask in faith, nothing doubting, for he who is doubting hath been like a wave of the sea, driven by wind and tossed, 7 for let not that man suppose that he shall receive anything from the Lord— 8 a two-souled man is unstable in all his ways. 9 And let the brother who is low rejoice in his exaltation, 10 and the rich in his becoming low, because as a flower of grass he shall pass away; 11 for the sun did rise with the burning heat, and did wither the grass, and the flower of it fell, and the grace of its appearance did perish, so also the rich in his way shall fade away! 12 Happy the man who doth endure temptation, because, becoming approved, he shall receive the crown of the life, which the Lord did promise to those loving Him.

Malachi 4

CLV 1 For behold! The day of Yahweh is coming, consuming as a stove, and it devours them. And all the arrogant and all doing wickedness become straw. And the coming day sets them aflame, says Yahweh of hosts, which will not leave to them root or bough.” 2 Yet the Sun of righteousness shall radiate to you who fear My name, and healing is in its wings. And you shall come forth, and you prance as calves of the stall.” 3 And you shall tread down the wicked, for they are becoming ashes under the soles of your feet in the day which I am making, says Yahweh of hosts.” 4 Remember the law of Moses, My servant, which I instruct him in Horeb for all Israel, the statutes and judgments.” 5 Behold! I will send to you Elijah, the prophet, before the coming of the great and fearful day of Yahweh.” 6 And he shall restore the heart of the fathers to the sons and the heart of the sons to their fathers, lest I shall come and smite the earth to its doom.”

The Jews did remember the law of Moses. They translated the whole Torah into Greek and taught it to the Gentiles to prepare them for the good news too. The curse of foreign languages was reversed on Pentecost by the gifts Jesus gave to the Jews from His throne in heaven. The Jews ruled in their final Jubilee with the new covenant soul. Jesus proleptically or symbolically breathed on His disciples as God did into Adam’s nose. The new covenant soul of humanity was born on Pentecost. It was no longer a typical old covenant soul. Into the nostrils of Adam was fulfilled by the indwelling of the breath Jesus sent from heaven, as a gift from Jesus to His brethren first and also to the Gentiles.
