What do all Baptisms Have in Common?

Answer: birth into a new body

Noah’s Baptism – A new body of humanity came out from under the water. Only those who believed Noah’s preaching were saved from the death of that corrupt generation. It was a type of resurrection or a rebirth of the old humanity. In the new body, Noah inherited the righteousness that is by faith in God. The life of faith was given to the new body as the old violent body died in the flood. Noah had one final work week prior to his baptism. Noah himself went under water for 40 days. The only hope of anything in the land that breathed air was to be inside that waterproof bubble. Every one who missed the boat went under water and drown. whether you believe it was local or global, God started a new human race for His imagers. The continual violence of Noah’s generation had made humanity unrecognizable. A new local body emerged out of the flood water. The fulfilment body of humanity in AD 70 would emerge internationally.

“Single among all men, most just and true,
Was the most faithful Noah, full of care
For noblest works. And to him God himself
From heaven thus spoke: ‘Noah, be of good cheer
In thyself and to all the people preach
Repentance, so that they may all be saved.
But if, with shameless soul, they heed me not
The whole race I will utterly destroy”’ (Probably sourced from ancient Jewish thought: Sibylline Oracles Book I, lines 155–161).

Hebrews 11:7 – By faith Noah, being warned by God about things not yet seen, in reverence prepared an ark for the salvation of his household, through which he condemned the cosmos, and by faith became an heir of the righteousness. (cosmos can mean any orderly arrangement from cosmetics to the universe. Here it means the humanity. God’s orderly arrangement for His people was in chaos.)

Genesis 6:8;18

CLV 8 Yet Noah finds grace in the eyes of Yahweh Elohim.

LITV 18 And I will establish My covenant with you. And you shall come into the ark, you and your sons and your wife and your sons’ wives with you.

Genesis 7:1

CLV 1 And saying is Yahweh Elohim to Noah, “Come, you and all your household, into the ark, for you I see righteous before Me in this generation.

Colossians 3:8-10 (The new covenant body was also a renewal of humanity, like Noah’s renewal, but in a final fulfillment of types and in a chiastic reversal of events. The body of humanity was graciously remade into God’s recognizable image for 40 years prior to the judgement that eradicated the violent aggressors. The persecution was stirred up by those who wanted to keep typical Jerusalem as the land base for humanity. In the old to new covenant transition, a spiritual body was being formed from the land that moved out to the world at large. They were crossing the Jordan in reverse. If you have the Holy Spirit (the essential breath of life) you are His and you have His full image in you. This knowledge of good and evil grants life regardless of location. If you don’t have the Holy Spirit you are not His people.)

ECB 8 But now, even you, put all these from your mouth; wrath, fury, malice, blasphemy, shameful words. 9 Lie not one to another – seeing that you stripped the old humanity with his functions10 and endued the new, renewed in knowledge after the icon (image) of him who created him:

Genesis 7:4 (Jesus, as the fulfillment Noah, entered Jerusalem on the sabbath and was resurrected 7 days later. His last work week resulted in a new body for humanity, beginning with Himself. The old corrupted body wasn’t destroyed until the end of His resurrection of humanity into His new creation body. The AD 70 telos of the body of Christ was the end of the new beginning for God’s people.)

4 For after seven more days I will cause it to rain on the earth forty days and forty nights and will wipe away every living substance that I have made from off the face of the land.

Luke 12:50 (Jesus took the violent judgement from the old humanity on the savage cross. Putting the old human to death was referred to by Jesus as another baptism that He would personally suffer through, like Noah and Moses, Jesus emerged from the death of old covenant humanity as the new head human of a reborn body. He graciously died to offer spiritual life to the dead old covenant body of humanity, before their final baptism by fire occurred.

John’s water baptism was a warning to the Jews to get their messianic fire insurance. A messianic body of believers was pre-forming by way of John’s baptism of repentance and by way of the diaspora synagogal teaching. All Jews were already as good as dead and in Sheol along with those of Noah’s day. Both were awaiting the messiah. But even Sheol/Hades was about to be emptied of believers before it came to a fiery end.)

CLV 50 Yet a baptism have I to be baptized with, and how I am being pressed till it should be accomplished!”

1 Peter 3:19-21 (Jesus, as the resurrected humanity, preached to the stubborn ones who died and went to Sheol in Noah’s day. They weren’t yet annihilated in the lake of fire. They biologically stopped breathing the typical air. Annihilation is by spirit realm fire, not earthly realm water.)

CLV 19 in which, being gone to the spirits in jail also, 20 He heralds to those once stubborn, when the patience of God awaited in the days of Noah while the ark was being constructed, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were brought safely through water, 21 the representation of which, baptism, is now saving you also (not the putting off of the filth of the flesh, but the inquiry of a good conscience to God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

According to 1 Peter 3:19-20, Jesus Himself went into the spirit realm of the dead ones. His biological body was in the tomb. He breathed His last old covenant air and went to preach “to those who were disobedient long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built.” Even though they rebelled against the truth, refused the ark, and drowned in the flood. They still existed in Sheol. They were not yet destroyed in Gehenna. Gehenna was the visible earthly representation of the spirit realm’s lake of fire. 1 Peter chapter 3 is all about the spiritual body life in the new cosmos. It was not to be focused on visible adornment of the flesh but was essentially inward and spiritual. The good consciousness was granted by the eye-opening Holy Spirit after the obedient death on the tree event. To be like God is to know God Spirit to spirit.

Romans 8:16

YLT 16 The Spirit himself doth testify with our spirit, that we are children of God;

When the Holy Spirit betrothal-covenant culminated into the Lord’s presence in marriage, the spirits waiting in Hades were the first to go to heaven. “We”, the body of God’s people, were all changed. But Hades was emptied of God’s people and those whose names were not written in the Lamb’s book of life stayed spiritually dead and were then spiritually destroyed in the second death; lake of fire. The new body was essentially an eternal spiritually living body. The old body was no more.

1 Thessalonians 4:15

YLT 15 for this to you we say in the word of the Lord, that we who are living—who do remain over to the presence of the Lord—may not precede those asleep,

After the Holy Spirit was received by the Hebrews on Pentecost, Peter addresses those Jews who did not believe John the baptist’s message about the imminent arrival of their messiah. Peter tells the unbelieving Jewish ‘humanity’ that they had just murdered an innocent man. It was about 9AM on the same day of Pentecost that they got a second chance to believe John’s message and join the resurrecting body. Many did believe that Jesus was indeed the messiah and 3000 of those Jews joined the already forming body. A new body with a new head was emerging from the flesh family still breathing on the land. The stubborn ones of course had to repent, which meant they did accept John the baptist’s message of repentance after all. They had to change their mind about rejecting their messiah John was announcing and repent of their misdeeds. Then they were baptized into the re-formation body that began with one person, 7 days after Jesus entered Jerusalem.

Jewish water baptism still pictured a death to the flesh, like Noah’s baptism did. The actual flesh death was just delayed. Jews had to be willing to leave their flesh covenant (put the old man to death) to join the spiritual one. The Spirit of the new creation was symbolized by the dove as Noah came out of the water. The dove also meant peace with God as Christ emerged from the water. A fire of tongue cleansing came down on the old Jewish body on Pentecost. Then the same Peter who denied knowing Jesus spoke boldly and truthfully. His old Jewish tongue was purified and tamed that day.

The Jewish body was in a purification transition that we were never in and will never be in. They were moving from the body of Moses to the body of Christ. The Holy Spirit as a dove remained on Jesus’ body at His water baptism because He didn’t need to repent of anything. He fulfilled the law of God. It was the receiving of the same Holy Spirit that later convinced the resurrected Jewish body of Christ to let us Gentiles be water baptized into their new body of humanity, before the complete destruction of the old Jewish body of humanity arrived by fire.

Acts 2:38-41 (At 9AM that day 3000 more Jews were added to the regeneration of the body.)

CLV 38 Now Peter is averring to them, “Repent and be baptized each of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the pardon of your sins, and you shall be obtaining the gratuity of the holy spirit.” 39 For to you is the promise and to your children, and to all those afar, whosoever the Lord our God should be calling to Him.” 40 Besides, with more and different words, he conjures and entreated them, saying, “Be saved from this crooked generation!” 41 Those indeed, then, who welcome his word, are baptized, and there were added in that day about three thousand souls.”

Acts 7:51 – Some Jews, years later, heard the same message from Stephen that Peter had preached to them on Pentecost. But they still refused to believe God. They remained stubborn and turned to more in-land violence instead. They were going to ‘drown’ with the old body in AD 70 unless they changed their mind. Paul was among them. They were on the wrong side of that final baptism by fire. Better to see the spiritual life in the international tongue-taming fires of Pentecost than in the second death of the nation. Pentecost tongues of fire reversed the curse of Babel on humanity. Babel was a diaspora due to disobedience. The dispersed Hebrews came together for their day of Pentecost and each Israelite heard the preaching in their new national tongues.

In AD 70 the foreign tongues of final judgement were heard as the summoned nations surrounded Jerusalem. That fire consumed the whole body in it’s second land death. When they saw the Roman armies it was too late for a Holy Spirit translator. The second 490 years of forgiveness were over. The tenth rejected Jubilee had arrived for the second time to mark the second national death. The body of Jesus the messiah emerged eternal in that final Jubilee. The reasonable Logos lived on as the old unreasonable body died in the stubborn chaos of their corruption.

Acts 7:51-60 (Herod added to their slaughter when he killed the pre-evangelist John the baptizer)

ECB 51 You hardnaped and noncircumcised in heart and ears, you ever oppose the Holy Spirit. As your fathers, also you. 52 Which of the prophets have your fathers not persecuted? And they slaughtered them who pre-evangelized concerning the coming of the Just – of whom you now become traitors and murderers: 53 who take the torah by the ordinance of angels, and guard it not.

54STEPHANOS IS STONED
They hear these and are cut to the heart; and they gnash on him with their teeth: 55 but being full of the Holy Spirit, he stares into the heavens and sees the glory of Elohim; and Yah Shua standing at the right of Elohim, 56 and says, Behold, I observe the heavens open, and the Son of humanity standing at the right of Elohim. 57 And they cry out with a mega voice and hold their ears, and run violently upon him in unanimity, 58 and cast him from the city, and stone him: and the witnesses put down their garments at the feet of a youth called Shaul: 59 and they stone Stephanos: calling on Elohim, wording, Adonay Yah Shua, receive my spirit. 60 And he places his knees and cries with a mega voice, Adonay, set not this sin to their charge. – and saying this, he falls asleep.

Matthew 3:11 (John told the Jews about their upcoming baptism with the Spirit and fire, from their messiah. Fire from God gave life to some Jews on Pentecost and death to other Jews in Ad 70. That means a new sanctified body was formed. The Jews had been humanizing all the nations for hundreds of years, but their own tongues were unable to be tamed until their Holy Spirit national celebration.)

YLT 11 `I indeed do baptize you with water to reformation, but he who after me is coming is mightier than I, of whom I am not worthy to bear the sandals, he shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire, (a new body was being born)

Luke 12:4-5 (Fear the Second Death)

YLT 4 `And I say to you, my friends, be not afraid of those killing the body, and after these things are not having anything over to do; 5 but I will show to you, whom ye may fear; Fear him who, after the killing, is having authority to cast to the gehenna; yes, I say to you, Fear ye Him.

Jesus called out the fact that Noah’s contemporaries ignored the message that would have saved them. This time, the Lord warned the Jews not to make the same mistake: “Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of humanity. People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all” (Luke 17:26 -27).

A new body was being made and it was given “life to the age” of 1000. It was not necessarily biological life to the age. It was a new body that was given spiritual life to the age. The typical tree of life would have given biological life to Adam but he would have arrived spiritually dead. Adam was no longer face to face with God. Those who believed the gospel fulfilled the last 70 years of Adam alive with Christ. Like the first exodus, there was a renewal of body prior to entering the eternal promised land. The old body completely ended in AD 70. The born again Jews and their proselytes inherited the eternal life of the new body. The body of Christ never dies again. The place He prepared in heaven is never corrupted. John’s baptism and His baptism was the beginning of the renewal of body that started the spiritual church body. Paul called the Corinthians fools in 1 Corinthians 15 when they inquired about the (flesh) body of those in Hades. Those in Hades were the first to enter heaven. They didn’t have to get a flesh body back on earth.

The Holy Spirit still today adds members to the already resurrected body of Christ. That’s as spiritual as it gets. Everyone who believes will leave their old flesh body made for earth when they die and go the heaven. According to the Bible they already left their flesh body of origin when they were born again, baptism socially presents that move from one body to the other to the public. We baptize in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, because unlike Adam, Abraham and Moses, the spiritual trinity gives eternal life to the new body. The Trinity is/are the Godhead of the body. Obviously it’s not our flesh body that got eternal life. It’s our spirit realm body.

John 3:3-7 (Being born from your mother is a water baptism into your flesh family of origin. You were given air to breath under water for 40 weeks. Just as you were born with a flesh body into a flesh family you are born with a spirit realm body into the heavenly family. That which is generated by flesh is flesh…)

LITV 3 Jesus answered and said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, if one does not receive birth from above, he is not able to see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus said to Him, How is a man able to be born, being old? He is not able to enter into his mother’s womb a second time and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Truly, truly, I say to you, if one does not receive birth out of water and Spirit, he is not able to enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That receiving birth from the flesh is flesh, and that receiving birth from the Spirit is spirit7 Do not wonder because I told you, You must receive birth from above.

1 Peter 1:23 (The only begotten Son of God was given a flesh body by way of the Holy Spirit. God became His flesh-body-Father by way of the Holy Spirit in Mary. The eternal Son came down from heaven and was born into a flesh body. The same Holy Spirit gives our flesh body spiritual life in a heavenly body.

CLV 23 having been regenerated, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God, living and permanent,

Colossians 2:8-17 (The old man Adam was the firstborn human in the old covenant family of flesh {or nationally Abraham or Moses could be called the old head man}. Jesus called Himself son of Adam/humanity. New creation humanity has a new firstborn imager. His circumcision removes the whole old covenant body of flesh to reveal the spiritual head of the new covenant body. The Holy Spirit grants new life. Jesus was the only one in Adam’s flesh family who earned the Father’s approval and the Holy Spirit by fulfilling the Law. )

CLV 8 Beware that no one shall be despoiling you through philosophy and empty seduction, in accord with (old covenant humanity) human tradition, in accord with the elements of the world, and not in accord with (new covenant humanity) Christ, 9 for in Him the entire complement of the Deity is dwelling bodily. 10 And you are complete in Him, Who is the Head of every sovereignty and authority,11 in Whom you were circumcised also with a circumcision not made by hands, in the stripping off of the body of flesh in the circumcision of Christ.” 12 Being entombed together with Him in baptism, in Whom you were roused together also through faith in the operation of God, 13Who rouses Him from among the dead, you also being dead to the offenses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He vivifies us together jointly with Him, dealing graciously with all our offenses, 14 erasing the handwriting of the decrees against us, which was hostile to us, and has taken it away out of the midst, nailing it to the cross, 15 stripping off the sovereignties and authorities, with boldness He makes a show of them, triumphing over them in it.” 16 Let no one, then, be judging you in food or in drink or in the particulars of a festival, or of a new moon, or of sabbaths, 17 which are a shadow of those things which are impending – yet the body is the Christ’s.

John 3:14-36 (The wrath of God came in AD 70 to the old flesh-covenant unbelievers, not the believers who moved into the spiritual new covenant body.)

YLT 14 `And as Moses did lift up the serpent in the wilderness, so it behoveth the Son of Man to be lifted up, 15 that every one who is believing in him may not perish, but may have life age-during16 for God did so love the world, that His Son—the only begotten—He gave, that every one who is believing in him may not perish, but may have life age-during. 17 For God did not send His Son to the world that he may judge the world, but that the world may be saved through him; 18he who is believing in him is not judged, but he who is not believing hath been judged already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 `And this is the judgment, that the light hath come to the world, and men did love the darkness rather than the light, for their works were evil; 20 for every one who is doing wicked things hateth the light, and doth not come unto the light, that his works may not be detected; 21 but he who is doing the truth doth come to the light, that his works may be manifested, that in God they are having been wrought.’ 22 After these things came Jesus and his disciples to the land of Judea, and there he did tarry with them, and was baptizing; 23 and John was also baptizing in Aenon, nigh to Salem, because there were many waters there, and they were coming and were being baptized— 24for John was not yet cast into the prison— 25 there arose then a question from the disciples of John with some Jews about purifying, 26and they came unto John, and said to him, `Rabbi, he who was with thee beyond the Jordan, to whom thou didst testify, lo, this one is baptizing, and all are coming unto him.’ 27 John answered and said, `A man is not able to receive anything, if it may not have been given him from the heaven; 28 ye yourselves do testify to me that I said, I am not the Christ, but, that I am having been sent before him; 29 he who is having the bride is bridegroom, and the friend of the bridegroom, who is standing and hearing him, with joy doth rejoice because of the voice of the bridegroom; this, then, my joy hath been fulfilled. 30 `Him it behoveth to increase, and me to become less; 31 he who from above is coming is above all; he who is from the earth, from the earth he is, and from the earth he speaketh; he who from the heaven is coming is above all. 32 `And what he hath seen and heard this he doth testify, and his testimony none receiveth; 33 he who is receiving his testimony did seal that God is true; 34 for he whom God sent, the sayings of God he speaketh; for not by measure doth God give the Spirit; 35 the Father doth love the Son, and all things hath given into his hand; 36 he who is believing in the Son, hath life age-during; and he who is not believing the Son, shall not see life, but the wrath of God doth remain upon him.’

Israel coming out of their slavery to Egypt was another old covenant baptism event. When the Egyptian unbelievers drown in the Red Sea, the old national body of enslavement was put to death. The Hebrews and their proselytes emerged out of the Red Sea as the new body. The old slave master was put to death by water and Moses emerged as the head of humanity, not Pharaoh. Yet the typical baptisms weren’t over for the nation of Israel. When Moses came down the mountain with the proposal from God to make them into a great national body, they were worshipping an idol and partying. Some repented and came out alive. Others were swallowed alive by the earth. Still a third baptism: a baptism of time took all the adults prior to their promised land marriage. Even then, two faithful witnesses were spared from that old age baptism. The ‘regeneration’ that entered the promised land included Joshua and Caleb because they believed God’s could save them from the giants in the land. Other than those two, it was only the children of the Hebrews and the children of the proselytes who came out of the wilderness still breathing.

John the baptizer is symbolically baptizing people in a river of water prior to the real spiritual event. Nobody was really drowning or being saved from drowning in the Jordan. Putting that old body of types to death actually happened in AD 70. It was essentially a spiritual baptism in the lake of fire. But nobody comes out of the lake of fire. It is utter destruction. Even though the city was visibly destroyed by fire along with most of it’s inhabitants, that was only the visible destruction of the types. The essential event was happening in the spirit realm. The saving factor was the indwelling Holy Spirit, which is the greatest baptism of all.

John’s baptism didn’t save anybody from ‘drowning’ in the lake of fire. John’s baptism was the pre-evangelism to the Jews. John told the Jews that one greater than himself was coming after him. He would baptize in spirit and in fire. Jesus spirit and fire baptism was a culmination of all the old covenant air types, though entering the new covenant body was still being publicly presented by water baptism. The 12 tribes were even pre-evangelizing the nations in their diaspora. The whole Roman Empire was getting a new body of humanity; the body of Christ is now the light of the world.

Paul tells the Thessalonians not to act like the Gentiles. He writes to them as if they were all Jews now. The mixed multitude were all in the new resurrected body which is foundation-ally Jewish. But since the Gentiles were not transitioning into the new Jewish body by way of the old covenant types, the dietary and festival laws did not apply to them. The typical Jewish body didn’t completely die till AD 70.

Christ Himself suffered a physical and spiritual death, but not a body or spirit destruction. He joined the spiritual death that sent every human spirit into the earth to wait for Him. He can never join the second death in the lake of fire. That death is forever. It is annihilation. Jesus was always immortal. He came to baptize humanity into His body so the human body would emerge with a new head, with eternal life. He put the old covenant to death and made a new one; the human body of Adam in the flesh became the new human body of Christ in the spirit realm.

Life on earth is a metaphor of a sort of baptism. When we are born we come out of our mother’s water and join the family we are being born into; hopefully head first. When that body gets old and dies biologically, we leave this water covered planet and join the spiritual body of God’s people in heaven. But in the spirit realm we are considered alive and in the spiritual body already. We are surely not in the flesh mode body that was about to die in AD 70. Believers are already in the eternal body of Christ before we die biologically. The transition from the old covenant body to the new covenant body was completed in AD 70. Old earthy Jerusalem was judged to it’s second national death. It went under water; actually fire, which denoted annihilation of the old covenant of types. The new body of humanity had to emerge before the old was destroyed. The Roman armies came in like a flood and burned the city down. The end of the beginning was in the form of a Hebrew chiasm.

A chiasm is a repetition in reverse sequence. In the modern definition a chiasm forms a cross. For example: the optic chiasma is where the nerves cross at the base of the head. The optic chiasma crosses our binocular vision so the right side of the picture enters the right side of our brain and the left the left. But our mind still has to integrate the two pictures and turn it right side up. It arrived at the back of our eyes as two separated and upside down pictures. You can only see the mystery of the gospel with the spiritual eyes of Christ after the cross. Even His Jewish disciples couldn’t see it until after the resurrection.

Eschatos Adam was the fulness of the image of God in the land, as is the Holy Spirit He sent to indwell His new covenant body, still located in old Jerusalem at that time. First Adam wasn’t the fulness of God. Adam was only a type of the one who was about to be the incorruptible head of the new human body. The new human body lives in the heavenly Jerusalem that extends to earth in the spirit realm. If the cube shaped city left heaven and physically sat on our planet, it would be big enough to cover all of the promised land. It would only touch earth at one midpoint since it is flat, not round like the earth, so people could actually live under it. It would require a ladder over 50 miles tall to enter one of the 12 gates from earth. The bride is the city; is God’s people; is the temple where God lives. The old creation temple was cube shaped too. The new creation has no typical temple. The image of God is in His people.

John 14:9 (The one true imager)

CLV 9 Jesus is saying to him, “So much time I am with you, and you do not know Me, Philip! He who has seen Me has seen the Father, and how are you saying, ‘Show us the Father’?

The 12 tribes in diaspora had a synagogue in every city humanizing the world in preparation for the gospel of the new humanity. But the old humanity was corrupt and incomplete in the knowledge of God. The mystery of the one new body was finally being revealed in the body of Christ who died to give spiritual life to the Jewish church. Even the Gentiles were to put off that old covenant dead and dying humanity in favor of the new one. Typical humanity was on life support. Part of the tribe of Judah had returned to the land to give birth to their messiah before the plug was pulled on the flesh and blood body.

Ephesians 4:17-24

ECB 17
THE UNHOLY LIFE
So I word this, and witness in Adonay, to no longer walk exactly as the rest of the goyim in the vanity of their mind; 18 darkened in mind – alienated from the life of Elohim through the unknowingness in them through the petrifaction of their heart: 19 who being apathetic surrender themselves to lechery; working all impurity in avarice. 20
THE HOLY LIFE
And you learned not the Messiah thus; 21 if indeed you hear him and being doctrinated in him exactly as the truth is in Yah Shua: 22 that concerning your previous behavior you put off the old humanity, which according to the pantings of delusion is corrupt; 23 and renew the spirit of your mind; 24 and endue the new humanity as to Elohim – created in justness and true mercy.

The body of Hebrews who were taming the Gentiles were also in the dark still. Their missions mode was enacted out of their disobedience in the typical promised land. Like Adam they were driven out to serve the land they were taken from in futility. But this final judgement on the land removed the last tribe and ended the futility. The human body was made to live to the age. The age previously unattainable in spiritual life was 1000. The spiritual tree of the knowledge of God is also the tree of life in the new creation. The Holy Spirit is the telos eye opener as well as the life giver. Jesus overcame their evil death on the cross so He could send the Holy Spirit to rebirth the nation in the flesh.

Jesus was resurrected out of the dead ones in Jerusalem so He could form a living body with them. Only He could escape their death and start a new covenant before they died dead for the second time. Their 1000 year Jubilee was fast approaching.

Romans 6:1-6 (slaves to missing the goal)

CLV 1 What, then, shall we declare? That we may be persisting in sin that grace should be increasing? 2 May it not be coming to that! We, who died to sin, how shall we still be living in it? 3 Or are you ignorant that whoever are baptized into Christ Jesus, are baptized into His death? 4 We, then, were entombed together with Him through baptism into death, that, even as Christ was roused from among the dead through the glory of the Father, thus we also should be walking in newness of life.” 5 For if we have become planted together in the likeness of His death, nevertheless we shall be of the resurrection also,6 knowing this, that our old humanity was crucified together with Him, that the body of Sin may be nullified, for us by no means to be still slaving for Sin,

Satan could offer all the kingdoms to Jesus because it was all his to offer. It all fell to Satan and he was determined to keep it. Jesus came to take it back and was indeed offering God’s kingdom to His people. The baptism of John that led to the baptism of the Holy Spirit that led to the adoption of Gentiles made a new body. A new creation body was formed. Flesh and blood did not inherit the eternal kingdom of God. The new covenant church did. Christ rules humanity in the eternal promised land.

Ephesians 2:2

LITV 2 in which you then walked according to the course of this world, according to the ruler of the authority of the air, the spirit now working in the sons of disobedience,

John was calling all Jerusalem to the wilderness. He was preparing them for their second exodus from slavery. The fulfillment body formed from AD 30 – AD 70 as they were being called to forsake typical Jerusalem that had become Egypt to them. That evil generation was spiritually regenerated before the old body was put to second death by fire. The new generation wasn’t the next flesh and blood generation. It was a Holy Spirit regeneration.

Luke 23:28

LITV 28 And turning to them, Jesus said, Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep over Me, but weep over yourselves and over your children.

Matthew 3:1-6

LITV 1 Now in those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, 2 and saying, Repent! For the kingdom of Heaven has drawn near. 3 For this is he spoken of by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: Prepare the way of the Lord! Make His paths straight!” Isa. 40:3 4 And John himself had his clothing from hairs of a camel, and a belt of leather about his loin. And his food was locusts and wild honey. 5 Then Jerusalem and all Judea went out to him, and all the neighborhood of the Jordan, 6 and were baptized by him in the Jordan, confessing their sins.

The First Temple was destroyed by the Babylonians in 587–586 before Christ, and the Second Temple was destroyed by the Romans in the year of the Lord 70. The remaining temple is the resurrected body of Christ. Half-way through His last old covenant week He said, “Destroy this temple and I will rebuild it in three days”. Many thought they meant a third temple in the land. But He meant the body of Christ. It is where the Holy Spirit eternally dwells. That is in God’s people who live in the cube shaped New Jerusalem that has no cube shaped inner room in the temple because everyone in the city is in the presence of God. Outside the city are the dogs. Therefore it does extend to earth in the spirit realm. You have to be born of the Spirit to be in it. Everyone else is outside. You mist be born again. Just like the first birth emerged out of water, we still present the second birth by emergence from water. We can’t see spiritual birth.

If this is not a city that exists in the spirit realm where we can already enter today and live forever, then it has yet to be seen with our eyes of flesh. It will be leaving heaven and landing on earth sometime in our future. This heavenly city is big enough to cover all of the United States, but it has a flat bottom. So I suppose the dogs will be able to live under it, since the earth is round and the city will be balancing on it’s center point. To enter one of the 12 perimeter gates would require a ladder over 50 miles tall. Maybe the ability to fly comes with the gospel, since the gospel is the only way into the spiritual city of Jerusalem. Since the New Jerusalem is about 1500 miles cubed then the perimeter of the city would be teetering over 50 miles above the earth, which is how much the horizon drops from the middle of the United States to the border.

Revelation 21

YLT 1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth did pass away, and the sea is not any more; 2 and I, John, saw the holy city—new Jerusalem—coming down from God out of the heaven, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband; 3 and I heard a great voice out of the heaven, saying, `Lo, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will tabernacle with them, and they shall be His peoples, and God Himself shall be with them—their God, 4 and God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes, and the death shall not be any more, nor sorrow, nor crying, nor shall there be any more pain, because the first things did go away.’ 5 And He who is sitting upon the throne said, `Lo, new I make all things; and He saith to me, `Write, because these words are true and stedfast;’ 6 and He said to me, `It hath been done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End; I, to him who is thirsting, will give of the fountain of the water of the life freely; 7 he who is overcoming shall inherit all things, and I will be to him—a God, and he shall be to me—the son, 8 and to fearful, and unstedfast, and abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all the liars, their part is in the lake that is burning with fire and brimstone, which is a second death.’
9 And there came unto me one of the seven messengers, who have the seven vials that are full of the seven last plagues, and he spake with me, saying, `Come, I will shew thee the bride of the Lamb—the wife,’ 10and he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and did shew to me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, coming down out of the heaven from God, 11 having the glory of God, and her light is like a stone most precious, as a jasper stone clear as crystal, 12 having also a wall great and high, having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve messengers, and names written thereon, which are those of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel, 13 at the east three gates, at the north three gates, at the south three gates, at the west three gates; 14 and the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. 15 And he who is speaking with me had a golden reed, that he may measure the city, and its gates, and its wall; 16 and the city lieth square, and the length of it is as great as the breadth; and he did measure the city with the reed—furlongs twelve thousand; the length, and the breadth, and the height, of it are equal; 17 and he measured its wall, an hundred forty-four cubits, the measure of a man, that is, of the messenger; 18 and the building of its wall was jasper, and the city is pure gold—like to pure glass; 19 and the foundations of the wall of the city with every precious stone have been adorned; the first foundation jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, emerald; 20 the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprasus; the eleventh, jacinth; the twelfth, amethyst. 21 And the twelve gates aretwelve pearls, each several one of the gates was of one pearl; and the broad-place of the city is pure gold—as transparent glass. 22 And a sanctuary I did not see in it, for the Lord God, the Almighty, is its sanctuary, and the Lamb, 23 and the city hath no need of the sun, nor of the moon, that they may shine in it; for the glory of God did lighten it, and the lamp of it is the Lamb; 24 and the nations of the saved in its light shall walk, and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it, 25 and its gates shall not at all be shut by day, for night shall not be there; 26 and they shall bring the glory and the honour of the nations into it; 27 and there may not at all enter into it any thing defiling and doing abomination, and a lie, but—those written in the scroll of the life of the Lamb.

Daniel 12:4 (The end time was not the end of time. It was the end of the old covenant time, when the eschaton Adam was put to death and the resurrected body of Christ telosed the millennium of Adam and Israel.)

LITV 4 But you, O Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book, to the end time. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Revelation 22:10-21

YLT 10 And he saith to me, `Thou mayest not seal the words of the prophecy of this scroll, because the time is nigh; 11 he who is unrighteous—let him be unrighteous still, and he who is filthy—let him be filthy still, and he who is righteous—let him be declared righteous still, and he who is sanctified—let him be sanctified still: 12 And lo, I come quickly, and my reward is with me, to render to each as his work shall be; 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega—the Beginning and End—the First and the Last. 14 `Happy are those doing His commands that the authority shall be theirs unto the tree of the life, and by the gates they may enter into the city; 15 and outside are the dogs, and the sorcerers, and the whoremongers, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and every one who is loving and is doing a lie. 16 `I, Jesus did send my messenger to testify to you these things concerning the assemblies; I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright and morning star! 17 And the Spirit and the Bride say, Come; and he who is hearing—let him say, Come; and he who is thirsting—let him come; and he who is willing—let him take the water of life freely. 18 `For I testify to every one hearing the words of the prophecy of this scroll, if any one may add unto these, God shall add to him the plagues that have been written in this scroll, 19 and if any one may take away from the words of the scroll of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the scroll of the life, and out of the holy city, and the things that have been written in this scroll;’
20 he saith—who is testifying these things—`Yes, I come quickly!’ Amen! Yes, be coming, Lord Jesus! 21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ is with you all. Amen.

John 3

YLT 1 And there was a man of the Pharisees, Nicodemus his name, a ruler of the Jews, 2 this one came unto him by night, and said to him, `Rabbi, we have known that from God thou hast come—a teacher, for no one these signs is able to do that thou dost, if God may not be with him.’ 3 Jesus answered and said to him, `Verily, verily, I say to thee, If any one may not be born from above, he is not able to see the reign of God;’ 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, `How is a man able to be born, being old? is he able into the womb of his mother a second time to enter, and to be born?’ 5 Jesus answered, `Verily, verily, I say to thee, If any one may not be born of water, and the Spirit, he is not able to enter into the reign of God; 6 that which hath been born of the flesh is flesh, and that which hath been born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 `Thou mayest not wonder that I said to thee, It behoveth you to be born from above; 8 the Spirit where he willeth doth blow, and his voice thou dost hear, but thou hast not known whence he cometh, and whither he goeth; thus is every one who hath been born of the Spirit.’ 9 Nicodemus answered and said to him, `How are these things able to happen?’ 10Jesus answered and said to him, `Thou art the teacher of Israel—and these things thou dost not know! 11 `Verily, verily, I say to thee—What we have known we speak, and what we have seen we testify, and our testimony ye do not receive; 12 if the earthly things I said to you, and ye do not believe, how, if I shall say to you the heavenly things, will ye believe? 13 and no one hath gone up to the heaven, except he who out of the heaven came down—the Son of Man who is in the heaven. 14 `And as Moses did lift up the serpent in the wilderness, so it behoveth the Son of Man to be lifted up, 15 that every one who is believing in him may not perish, but may have life age-during, 16 for God did so love the world, that His Son—the only begotten—He gave, that every one who is believing in him may not perish, but may have life age-during. 17 For God did not send His Son to the world that he may judge the world, but that the world may be saved through him; 18 he who is believing in him is not judged, but he who is not believing hath been judged already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Jesus came to divide God’s old covenant body into two groups: believers and unbelievers. He sanctified (separated) the body. The unbelievers would stay in the land and miss the boat. They lost their salvation and this time it was essentially spiritual and forever. The unbelievers reached their cursed age of 1000 and believers reached their blessed age of 1000 and both sealed the deal; second death or eternal life.

Luke 12:49-56 (The Jews were unaware of their age)

49 Fire came I to be casting on the land, and what will I, if it were already kindled? 50 Yet a baptism have I to be baptized with, and how I am being pressed till it should be accomplished!” 51 Are you supposing that I came along to give peace to the land? No, I am saying to you, but rather division, 52 For from now on there will be five in one home divided, three against two, and two against three will be divided,53 father against son and son against father, and mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.” 54Now He said to the throngs, also, “Whenever you should be perceiving a cloud rising in the west, immediately you are saying that ‘A rainstorm is coming,’ and it is occurring thus.” 55 And whenever it is blowing from the south, you are saying that ‘There will be a scorching heat,’ and it is occurring.” 56 Hypocrites! The aspect of the sky and the earth you are aware how to be testing, yet this age you are not aware how to be testing!”

Acts 17:26 (Adam was given the great commission of humanizing the animals. The nation of Israel in disobedience (diaspora) was fulfilling it. All nations had become the human race at large. The blood of the Jews was no longer distinct. It wasn’t only the Samaritans who were mingling with the nations. The one blood of humanity had pre-evangelized the world for the one blood of the messiah to create a new spiritual body of humans. The eschatos Adam went ‘under water’ (judgement) and physically and spiritually died on the cross. The old bride was released from the side of the old man while He was in a ‘deep ‘sleep’ because a widow is set free to remarry. Water and blood came from His side when the law man pierced Him. The old covenant law man did not kill HIm. The blood represented the old soul that He willingly poured out for many and the water represented his old covenant spiritual life after His baptism. The torn flesh was of course His broken body. The Jews were set free to be betrothed again on Pentecost; to Him as the first born of their new covenant. All Israel had intermarried and infiltrated the world with their typical blood. The old covenant human soul was typically in the blood. The Old Covenant of types was irredeemable except by the seed of one man from the remnant of the remaining tribe of Judah.)

26 Besides, He is making out of one blood every nation of humanity, to be living on all the entire surface of the earth…

Galatians 3:16

Galatians 3:16, ESV: “Now the promises were made to Abraham and to his offspring. It does not say, “And to offsprings,” referring to many, but referring to one, “And to your offspring,” who is Christ.”

1 Corinthians 15:44

CLV 44 It is sown a soulish body; it is roused a spiritual body.

Matthew 16:25 (This was written to the Jews prior to the AD 70 destruction of old covenant typical soul of the nation. The Holy Spirit of the nation couldn’t be destroyed. The Holy Spirit could leave them. The new soul is the law of Christ. He sent the Spirit so the Jews could have a permanent Spirit to spirit relationship with God. The Jews who wanted to keep the old soul destroyed the old soul on the cross. The Jews who entered the new covenant picked up their own cross to continue to put the old covenant man to death until the end of their time arrived in AD 70.)

CLV 25 For whosoever may be wanting to save his soul shall be destroying it. Yet whoever should be destroying his soul on My account shall be finding it.

John 3:16 (Life to the age was the beginning of the eternal life time. The new covenant body never dies. Jesus baptized it into His eternal body and the ‘Egyptians’ drown in the Red Sea.)

16 for God did so love the world, that His Son—the only begotten—He gave, that every one who is believing in him may not be being destroyed, but may be having life to the age.

Hebrews 13:10-13 (Written to the Hebrews in transition from their old to their new covenant)

LITV 10 We have an altar of which those serving the tabernacle have no authority to eat. 11 For of the animals whose “blood is brought” by the high priest “into the Holy of Holies” concerning sins, of these the bodies “are burned outside the camp.” Lev. 16:27 12 Indeed, because of this, in order that He might sanctify the people by His own blood, Jesus suffered outside the gate. 13 So let us go forth to Him outside the camp bearing His reproach.

Revelation 11:8 (Believing Hebrews were told not to be in the spiritually dead city where the Lord was crucified, when the judgements of Sodom and Egypt were fulfilled on it. Typical Egypt was obviously on the wrong side of the baptism in the Red Sea. The body that emerged from AD 70 was the eternal one. Old covenant flesh and blood did not inherit the kingdom. The church did. The new covenant body of Christ will never be put to death.)

LITV 8 And their bodies will be on the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom, and Egypt, where our Lord was crucified.
